See? This is what I'm talking about. Whenever left-leaning people, still holding to their liberal beliefs but clearly don't agree with the party line, genuinely try to reach out to the right they get kicked back down for being one of (((them))). This person of the left persuasion is suggesting that there are people of the left persuasion who don't support x y or z, and at the very least homie doesn't. While it's obviously not true that "The average left leaning person... does not hold the above viewpoints" I'm willing to call this wishful thinking or ignorance rather than an outright lie. Or hell, it could just be the times be a-changing. Like I said, I do think there is an awakening going on in parts of the left. People are getting actually woke.
Could they be lying? Sure. I could be full of shit too. My whole "right-leaning but recognize people to the left aren't all Satan demons" thing could just be a tactic to try and sway you. You might even question my stance, so I'll just say I believe that the state of affairs @Party Hat Wurmple described is intentional. When everyone is in survival mode you can't reach any sort of rational consensus or detente because doing so means allowing the heccin evil nazi chuds/tranny rapist demon pedophiles to kill all of white people/non-white people and ensure the extinction of the white race/extinction of all races other than white.

I tried having a reasonable conversation with @General Patton earlier this thread when she pulled the same "woe is me, nobody wants to talk" nonsense, and all that happened is that I wrote half a dozen involved replies all for her to ignore what I wrote and refuse to engage in any capacity. Every time I make the mistake of talking to progressives, it's the same exact interaction, every time, because these people are the same exact person copy pasted into a slightly different skinsuit so they can crudely pantomime human behavior. Frankly, I am sick of it, and I am sick of the faux victimhood and histrionics that people like her trot out every single time she doesn't get her way.
Nah, I am not in survival mode. I just hate them. Despise. Loathe. Abhor. Detest. It's hard to articulate just how much I have come to hate progressives. Every time I make the mistake of pretending that they are people, they prove to me that they are anything but human beings. I think they are all loathsome trash, and I do not see any point in constantly rehashing the same tired, trite stage production of trying to speak to them like they are people, only to be reminded that they are soulless. Even calling them "NPCs" is a bit generous, since NPCs don't typically go out of their way to destroy the entire game around them just to spite the player. There is no point in speaking to creatures that treat communication as a weapon for manipulation and trickery, rather than as a tool for communication and consensus. No reconciliation can be had, because progressives have intentionally ruined every single means through which reconciliation could be achieved.
Yeah, it is tiresome. That's why I pretty much don't bother anymore. Talking to General Troon was probably the last time this year that I will tolerate trying to interact with these people outside of my family. Maybe next year one of them will take a break from sucking criminal dicks and despising White men to develop something akin to a soul. If you feel so strongly, then you can feel free to try to engage with @Steak Tartare and show her that there are heckin wholesum right wingers out there. I just don't believe her. I think she's a liar like all the rest of her ilk.
