Seems like this area is pro-illegals, pro-niggers, and so on. Anti-American, and all these types. Sadly, it is so on here.

The average left leaning person, both on the farms and across the whole frickin' nation, does not hold the above viewpoints. Many of us have had to bite our tongues in the past decade, and we've found the extreme left awful like the right has (though with fewer experienced consequences). The majority of American across the isle object to Biden-era immigration policies, are fine with abortion, fine with gay marriage, hate troons in women's sports, think biology is real, recognize people are on a spectrum of intelligence, don't want kids to troon out, etc, and this is shown in polling. I think there are few to 0 "woke" lefties on this site, and there probably weren't that many even at the peak.
The TES thread seemingly has turned into blue razzberry flavored USPG in the last few weeks, and there is some silly paranoid weird shit appearing in there because it's moving so fast now. But the Trump lolcow thread and honestly a lot of the Deep Thoughts & political Gorrrltalk threads can have some non-frothing-at-the-mouth left stuff.

Right of center people I'd love to hear from you as to where lefty conceptions of this site's Rightie base are incorrect- tell me where the wheat is because I find threads to do with anything touching politics, women, and current events full of angry borderline sociopathic chaffposters that want to make the world hurt as much as they do. Give a voice to the reasonable! What do you value? What does the other side claim that you value that is outdated or an uncommonly held value?

It's just selection bias. I would never post in the Iran thread for example, because it's full of people who all have the same point of view and are randomly circlejerking about an otherwise interesting and important topic. Any thread about a country will be swarmed by people who alog that country - it's why we had to split the Russia/Ukraine threads. The China thread is similar. A thread about black people will be full of people who hate black people, a thread about Indians will be full of people who hate Indians (to be fair, that's just about everyone), a thread about trannies will be filled with people who hate trannies, and a thread about Donald Trump will be filled with people who either hate or love him.

Due to the strong pressures to conform that these internet monocultures produce, you end up with tourists to the thread having a 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do' attitude even if they don't agree with 100% of what is being said there, because they will just end up arguing with belligerent retards if they don't and that's a waste of time. So I think a lot of posts are couched in a more extreme manner than what the poster actually believes to 'fit in' which only strengthens the herd instinct.

I've had this happen in several threads, where the most rabid schizoposters will take my post that 80% agrees with them and autistically screech about the 20% that doesn't and accuse me of being on the 'other side' or act like I didn't baptize myself thoroughly enough into their viewpoint to be 'accepted' - I've had it happen from both the right and left.

There are plenty of leftists who are sane policy-wise. The main issue, at the risk of being cliche, seems to be Trump-derangement, where some liberal people just go completely insane about the man and prove themselves constitutionally incapable of seeing any element of competence in a man who won the presidency twice, and will twist themselves into pretzels to avoid ever admitting that he did something good. I've criticized and praised Trump for different things but when someone is clearly motivated by this incredibly mass spergout about the Donald it make me not want to have anything to do with them, because I know whatever I say will be ignored even if it is understood. Because that sort of reaction isn't a reasoned thing, it comes from a fear of social rejection - it's a cultivated group understanding that if you waver even a little in your complete revilement of the Donald you might slide down the path to becoming a dreaded Trumper and be cast out into the outer darkness. While right tend to go extreme on policy a lot of them will stay more sane on the personal, while a lot of left people stay saner on the policy but go all-out on personal derangement.

What I don't really get is, if people can't stand what is said in TES, why do you read it? Just....don't read it and ignore it. I feel like people just want to get angry so they read it while they can't stand it.

I stay away from TDS and don't read it. It's not that hard. It doesn't make sense to spend all that time in TES if you hate it and hate leftists.

I hate talking to leftists cause there are low IQ and get all angry about stupid. Then they get power hungry and dumb,
