As long as you aren't the type to get filtered by the diceroll combat and doom-style 2d billboard entities, Daggerfall is good fun. I've been playing a heavily modded install recently and the combination of the geography rework + roads with the one that replaces fast travel with time-accelerated autorun and a few economy tweaks basically turns the game into a sword and sorcery version of Elite.
Very excited for Wayward Realms from what I've seen of it.
 
@General Patton, I'm afraid we can no longer be civil as it appears you use light mode. Prepare for a never-ending onslaught of negrates because giving people stickers that say "you're a big dumb stupid [person of differing taste/outlook/opinion] and I don't like you" makes me feel something

I've been waiting for Unityfall to be finished since I just don't have the patience to mess with ancient games on modern hardware, but once that project is finished I will be playing Daggerfall that way. I'm usually not a fan of old school CRPGs, they're just a bit before my time and I find it hard to get into them, but Daggerfall looks amazing and I'd love to give it a try.

I cringed typing that out but its basically true. I really miss having discussion forums where stuff happens. KF is like all my christmas dreams come true, a marriage between my two favourite platforms, reddit and 4chan.

1. People's individual political views are completely incomprehensible anymore.
