Would civil service satisfy this. I know someone in a country with compulsory public service with non-military options such as working as a clerk in city hall. One might ague requiring people to serve the public in any sort of way gives them skin in the game. What say you?

Street protestors have neither morals nor standards. There are serial protestors in my area that would would protest against red Jell-o if those bankrolling these "organic grass roots" protests told them to.

Sadly, I agree. At a recent family event, an older relative had the misguided belief that the dot Indians presently coming to America are the bright doctors and engineers that has been coming and that the Muslims coming over are the nice ones who want to be good neighbors that contribute to society. They were Pikachu face surprised to learn those coming over are bottom of the barrel shit-tier people who don't want to assimilate and contribute to American society in any sort of positive way. They still have the Pollyanna-ish view that anyone coming legally has to be good people when they aren't.
They really just can't pull crowds anymore, even over the summer they weren't getting 1/10 what they were for the average floydfest concert.
That said, Dems have like a 10-20% actual approval rating and are propped up by massive fraud. Even in the "protests" you see, most are only there because they're paid, for clout, or for hanging out purposes.
There were supposed to be protests allover this area again. Apart from the ultra-liberal sites that draw people every time, I'm suspecting the rest of the sites were sparse of had no activity because of today's weather. Even this summer, what few protests I saw looked apathetic with protestors protesting topics other than Trump at supposed anti-Trump rallies. I'm sure the media will still say these protests were a huge success and well-attended.
