I'm not trying to prove a point or play a gotcha game, I'm merely stating that I disagree with your opinion. I really, really don't appreciate being smeared as le ebil heckin migger fascist every time I disagree with someone.
People have brought this up and I just don't see it. There's been no movement to prevent people from leaving the US. Also, the US requires expats abroad to pay US taxes if their income meets a certain threshold. The only way to truly escape US tax obligations is to renounce citizenship, and we've seen no movement to prevent that.
Because everyone is cocked and locked to make every issue a political issue, no matter what, at all times, regardless of the event. No matter what happens, the Teams™ must pick a side and you must defend your Team's™ side. There's a severe lack of desire to engage in honest conversation.
