Complete honesty? I still don't care. Having the US linger over the shoulder and force pyschopaths to not be psychopaths doesn't get rid of the psychopaths and doesn't give the population any particular incentive to prevent them from getting that kind of power again in the future. Let them go nuts, let them commit an atrocity, and then let the surviving population shove a shishkebak up their ass and bake them over the tire fire of their people, after having learned the hard way why they have to not let fucks like that entrench in the first place.
Every time the west tries to intervene to protect some poor retarded foreigners, they proceed to take it for granted and double down on the retardation. Only by letting them suffer from the consequences of their own actions do they learn. Look how Europe's turned out from assuming the US would just slap all the bad people for them. Look how Israels turned out with an infinite bag of guns to fuck with their neighbors. Tipping the scales only ensures there's never any true balance.
