It looks like the riots in Minnesota have gotten so out of control, someone broke into Nicks house and trashed the place.

Yo yo yo buffalo! Want to know how to become a TOP streamer? Well, you have to do something that no one tells you to do!

First, forget about streaming! That's right! The secret is to NOT stream... at least not yet... You have to be on TWITTER (I'm sorry, X) and argue with random people while making insightful points.

This is the real secret: You are bot taking to random, you sre feeding the algorithm. When you do this, you posts are ranked higher and shown to BIGGER accounts. This is the social networking you need to leverage to get an invitation to their podcast/stream/show to allow cross-pollinations between your audiences.

If they like the cut of your jib, then you have the base to form your own show.

Even the Somali daycares are cleaner! Skelly is filthier than the Somalis he loves to hate. Maybe because not all of them would bang Our Wife in front of him.

OK, so let me put it in a more socially acceptable way:
It's not so much about what's "social acceptable." In this case, it's more about avoiding what's medically contraindicated.

Do we even know what actually happened past "Nick convinced Kayla to stop taking antidepressants"?
As I recall, they did a bunch of cocaine, published lewd pictures of themselves on the Internet, and then involved themselves in some degenerate polyamorous thing where she fucked some dorky looking guy named Aaron. Then, at some point, the cops kicked down their door and arrested them because they were tipped off the children the two of them are obligated to care for were showing up to social functions unfed and unwashed.

Also, something about their (then) 8 year old daughter testing positive for cocaine. My memory is a bit fuzzy.

No, but really, is this even a serious question?

If you don't like SSRIs, that's your prerogative. I am not here as a lobbyist from the pharmaceutical industry, or to change your mind on that.

But clearly, convincing her to switch from Zoloft (the SSRI that we know she was taking up until a few years ago) to snorting cocaine was an unmitigated disaster. I would like to think there's general agreement insofar as that at least.

EDIT: Typo.

I would agree. The SSRIs are a mixed bag in lots of ways. They are oversubscribed in many situations today. But they do have an effect that can be useful or even necessary for lack of anything else. At least when used in the right way and in (hopefully) the short term. Getting her off SSRIs if she were able to do it would be a good thing (IMO).

But going off SSRIs and right on to probably a combination of cocaine and probably ketamine is completely insane. You are literally throwing gasoline on a fire in terms of brain chemistry.

But if all this is true, it provides the reasoned path for how someone could convince themselves to solve the problem of their child by giving that child cocaine. If mom was on cocaine and mom & dad saw cocaine as being the miracle drug that solved all of mom's mental issues that the doctors could not solve, I could see the gears moving in the direction of thinking they had made a great medical discovery. Especially Nick who sees himself as a genius at everything. And Kayla who by thirdhand accounts has always been looking to one sort of drugs or another to solve all her problems.

I think when you guys pointed out that Potentially Criminal beat his numbers the other night he pulled out the big guns and called in a favor from Branca to one-up Sean.
24 hours later, and it would appear it didn't work.

If she has Bipolar Disorder, it likely threw her into a profound manic state. This would raise her energy levels (and libido), but also short-circuit her inhibitions and lead to extreme risk taking behavior.

Yes. Over time, I become even more and more convinced than they dosed the kid, and it wasn't an accidental/negligent exposure.

1. Nick has a documented aversion to many forms of psych medications.
2. Nick loves cocaine, believes it has medicinal powers it actually doesn't, and that it should be legal.
3. Per StarTrak, Nick played a role in convincing Kayla to discontinue her Zoloft script in favor of using cocaine. I recognize, to some extent, we have to take their word for that, but it certainly fits with 1 and 2 above (IOW, I believe it).
4. Nick's second to youngest daughter also has a behavioral health issue.
5. Said daughter tests positive for cocaine, and is... curiously... the only one of the children that did.

The scary thing is, I don't think he learned a goddamned thing from this. He still thinks he's completely right, and it's the medical field and government that is wrong.

Going cold turkey on SSRIs can have really bad mental and physical health consequences. Regardless of what people think of SSRIs' efficacy, everyone should acknowledge that they are serious medications with serious side-effects that require close monitoring by a physician. If you have to stop using SSRIs, you need to be carefully weened off to prevent withdrawal symptoms. These drugs are not ordinary medications you can just start and stop.

Just stopping altogether without being weened off AND doing a fuckload of blow as well as other narcotics is a plan only a genius like Nick Rekieta could come up with.

Also, Our Troonless Leader? For some reason, quoting is broken right now.

@Null

not sure if I'm at-ing properly; am autistic, retarded, etc.
Quoting is not broken. The site just disables the bulk quote button on large posts to prevent people from making gigantic text wall quotes, highlighting text gets around this limitation and this is entirely intentional so you can just quote the part you actually want to quote.

Nick should know you cannot drive people from larger to smaller channels when the smaller channel isn't good. He tried it many times and no one really sticks around and you only damage your brand by doing it. This is what caused the massive issues in lawtube. Talentless hacks who sat on a panel and said nothing of worth felt they were owed massive audiences. Anyone of worth started building an audience naturally.

If Nick is playing around with Grok like this in public, you just know he is on with Grok just about 24/7 in private. There is a real danger in terms of mentally ill people like Nick talking too much to chatbots. They rarely understand that nearly all of what they are getting back from the chatbot is themselves and their own thoughts reflected back at them. For a man so in love with himself and his own genius like Nick, the danger would seem even greater.

So go Nick. Grok is a genius and Grok really understands you. Grok can fill that hole in you that your true love Aaron has left empty.
