I don't recall but he has consistently argued that you should take into consideration the feelings of every single person who feels insulted by your work. So if you start rambling about Super Mario Bros. being the source of your oppression, you're completely in the right and Miyamoto needs to think long and hard about you even if you have no impact on his sales.
