What's the sauce on those ribbons? To my Amerifat eyes it looks like he won first prize in a pie eating contest or something.

It's an election thing. Basically, they wear the ribbons to represent what party they stand for. The Monster Raving Loony Party take this to a hilarious extreme.

This amuses me because on many policies Theresa May is more left wing than Hillary Clinton was. The DUP are certainly wacky. but this idea that Theresa May should let Corbyn just waltz into Downing Street (Even though he can't form a majority even if every single left wing party joined him) just because she didn't get a majority are utterly madness.
It's pretty annoying remainers have somehow managed to set the narrative that the reason May didn't get a majority is because voters want open borders with Europe/a soft Brexit despite both the Conservatives and Labour having an end to freedom of movement in their manifestos and the news not even covering that issue pre election. (I guess I am the salty one!)

May didn't get a majority because the students got off their arses. Nothing more. Even then there was literally hundreds of votes between a Tory majority and none.

Just because they said that they were gonna do Brexit doesn't mean that they will do it! We can change that with an online petition!

This is how the British conquered the globe, they lured you in with their funny accents, weird hats, and tea. Then while everyone was giggling at them, they planted a flag. Do you have a flag?

I have a feeling that this is only getting started.

May potentially being ousted and leadership contest?

DUP marching into Westminster to tell the rest of progressive Britiain how to "be more like them". Wonder how theat will go.

Corbyn being a smug bellend and telling everybody how he's just such a winner because his seat count went up a bit.

The SNP blaming everyone else and not themselves.

Lib Dems just being...The Lib Dems.

Nigel Farage running UKIP again, reemerging the idea that UKIP is more cultish than other parties, because Farage just keeps coming back.

Yeah, should be a fun few months.

Oh, and there's Brexit negotiations too. *Rubs hands with glee*

Your avatar is feeling more and more appropriate for the current state of affairs. Fuck this timeline.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, a Eurosceptic Tory who held his seat from North East Somerset has an Instagram. And can imagine what some of the postings are given this election.

Mogg's one of those politicians I can't help but like, and I don't really understand why.

It's like a time traveler from the past decided to come here and change the future or something.

Ruth Davidson (who has some serious fucking clout now) making them her bitch.

I would totally support Davidson (at some point in the far future) as PM, however unlikely that is. Just because she's the sort that's actually frighteningly effective, by virtue of actually doing things.

From an electability standpoint, her being a Scottish lesbian also appeals to a lot of different people that the Tories would traditionally struggle to get. Plus, she's a relatively left leaning Tory as well, which would wipe away the toxic 'Nasty Party' look they've had for years.

I'd certainly vote for her over....Dianne Abbott.

I mean she is the main (and potentially only) reason why Theresa is even still known as Prime Minister, remove her losses and they wouldn't even be able to unite with the DUP. The 12 seats Davidson managed to gain in Scotland overshadowing the 10 seats that the DUP has. Without her, May would be fucked.

A lot of salt from Brexit fans because DUP would perfer a soft Brexit that keeps EU free movement.
