Update the 'next we'll make the left support narco-terrorists' to 'next we'll make the left support putin'.

My high school had no doors on the toilets in the 90s. Like, there were walls between each shitter, but no door. AND the urinals had no spacers either. I believe the excuse was to make sure no one thought they could do drugs or jack it etc. It was in a major city so, honestly, could've been an actual issue at one point.

I will generally shit ANYWHERE....with a door. I only shit once at school over those 4 years. Senior year, it was happening no matter what, so I bolted out of class and dumped. Luckily no one was in there because it was during class. Thank fucking god there was toilet paper. TP was never a guarantee.
My high school would just send other students to retrieve you if you took a shit for too long, but we did get to lock the stalls.
The Home Depots I used to work around though? All the door locks punched out, so if you gotta shit you gotta keep one foot up. All because we can't just kill the drug addicts where we find them ODing or hunched over.

Former Trump adviser says Russia offered U.S. free rein in Venezuela in exchange for Ukraine

Insane bit of reporting. The implication is clear, but the timeline makes no sense.

2019, Russia "offers" Trump Venezuela in exchange for a hands-off Ukraine, is rebuffed, advisor told Russia the two (Ukraine and Venezuela) have nothing to do with each other. Exposed this offer and response at the time, very transparent.

2022, under a different administration, Russia invades Ukraine anyways.

2026, America removes Maduro.

Also 2026, let's report on this old story and just implicitly frame it as quid pro quo.

That seems weird.

That seems super weird.
The food argument will never fail to piss me off. As if we don't have the same ingredients they do.
You ever try to make your own tamales? Sure you can do it, but they aren't going to taste half as good as your neighbor Maria's does.

I've said it before, if they are going to insist we pretend that we've invented AI then they don't get to pretend we can't figure out how to make tacos. Worst case scenario, we can set up a Taco Help Call Center in Mexico and Americans can call it for taco technical support.

Right, because we need their fucking permission lmao

I culturally appropriated (read: cooked) a wonderful batch of carnitas and refried beans the other week.

It was astoundingly simple, and I was able to get the flavor to be authentic without infinity migrants. Learn to cook, Kiwis, you don't need brownoids to make your favorite ethnic slop! We have their recipes on the Wonderful World Wide Web now.

If I recall correctly, anyone who was a "former" Trump advisor was likely one of the people who tried to sabotage him at every turn during his first term as president.
It's worse than that, this alleged deal was rejected by the advisor at the time extremely transparently, meaning this article literally just intentionally frames old news as nefarious due to events that occured later, and anyone not paying attention would assume this is a recent revelation.

You can't hate journalists enough.
