Gotcha komrade. Glorious red empire triumphed when it got bogged for 4 fucking years. Stalin spinning proudly in grave and 1.5 million dead russians very well invested in barely getting any gains.

I understand why Putin can't stop, but you aren't selling me that swamp of an operation is anything to be proud of.

I am not Russian. I don't really care about the conflict itself. But you and your ilk suck down the Call of Duty narrative shamelessly. In the 19th century Russia burned down their own capital, setting it back 50 or more years, to end it with old Napoleon. A few generations later a million soldat died in the defense of Stalingrad alone.

Yeah, they'll totally give up now. Sure. But the operation was bad! Okay, whatever.

Oh right. A central asian backwater is exactly the same as a place 8 hours drive from Moscow. One that contains a thousand years or Russian history, culture, and shared heritage. Brilliant comparison.

God damn you are painfully retarded.
So you are also going to sell me that there is much of any Ukranian who is all "Russia Russia!" after this? Sure when the confluct started, but after mountains of corpses and ruins, methinks the brotherhood of Russia and Ukraine is a goddamn mess. Admit it, they had an easy win just taking the Donbas, over commited to Kiev, bounced, and have stubbornly stuck to it. Will they get Ukraine? Yeah, was the cost worth it? Some faggot will find a way to make it seem like a huge win, but I'm not buying it.

That they will succeed AND it's a bad operation are not mutually exclusive retard.

soviets considered afghanistan vital to their national security because its location controlled the USSRs southern flank, control of it was vital to their posture towards the middle east and asia.
if they don't get meaningful results in the ukraine war then eventually they will end it for the same reasons that they ended the afghan war: it's a constant drain of manpower and resources with no end in sight and nothing to show for it, and they can't sustain that indefinitely.
their win condition in ukraine is the west losing interest before russia runs out of steam, in that case they get to enforce demands on ukraine and end the war while locking in some territorial gains. if the west keeps up the support for ukraine then time is working against russia, and it is way easier for the west to sustain financial and material aid to ukraine than it is for russiato sustain the manpower drain and economic burden of waging the war.

lots of russia supporters expected trumps election win to result in america cutting off ukraine and handing russia its victory, but so far that hasn't materialized. whether it will happen in the coming years remains to be seen. if it doesn't, then russia doesn't really have a winning way forward.

That one will be up to the future generation to diagnose I guess. But they will get it in the end. Whether it was worth it or not.

US Capitol Police Captain Michael Byrd, who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt on January 6th, 2021, has been running an unaccredited daycare center from their Maryland home since 2008.

Records show $190 million in funds from HHS.

I'm digging into this and here's what I've found so far. It was a registered business. But that's no longer the case.

Here's the defunct business, registration lapsed in 2018 according to the Maryland State records. You have to search for the business yourself, the page does not archive. Search for >Byrd's family<
L
Going by name there's no registered child care or educator's in Maryland licensed under the name Byrd.

However, despite this their family home is still showing up as a family daycare on carelulu.com. No reviews, no pictures of the supposed "playground" and no standalone website. I'll spare you the image because it's in the xeet.

Its definitely suspicious, and if I have time later I'll look deeper to see if I can find any grants or loans under this business id. Side note: while looking at this stuff the amount of smoke/vape shops getting SBG's from the government is nuts and need to be looked at after all the daycare stuff.

They should be smited out of the system for this; even if it's just that one franchisee pulling this shit, it will be associated with all other Hampton Inns and Hilton hotels, most of which are run by totally unrelated franchisees, and probably have some sort of negative effect for all of them. But I'm sure they won't be, someone will get fired, it'll remain a Hampton Inn instead of getting deflagged, and Hilton will keep on collecting their franchise gibs.

I know a woman who GMs a Hampton Inn and she'd probably start fangirling if ICE booked rooms there. I've heard her say nigger and faggot while on the job.

All told the US paid less in blood and treasure to win WW2 than we did in the Civil War.

The Civil War cost about $68b in today's dollars, while WWII cost us around $4,000b. This is because we produced over half the materiel used in WWII. That's half of all materiel by both sides combined, not half the Allied materiel. It's a completely different war without us.

I remember a couple dudes coming in running their cock suckers about stephen a week or two ago. WHERE THE FUCK YOU FAGGOTS AT NOW? MILLER IS ON CNN DROPPING HIS BALLS INTO JAKE TAPPER'S MOUTH AND DIPPING THEM IN THAT MOTHERFUCKER LIKE HE'S AT A 70S FONDUE PARTY.

DO NOT RUN YOUR MOUTH ABOUT MILLER, EVER AGAIN.

Interesting read about the formation of modern militant mooslims (link).
The jihad financed in Afghanistan by the oil-monarchies of the Arabian Peninsula and the CIA is explicitly aimed at inflicting on the Soviet Union […] a ‘Vietnam’ that precipitates its fall. At the Islamic level, its function is also to divert radical militants around the world from the struggle against the American Great Satan – to which Khomeini incites them – and to channel them against the USSR.
Afghan jihad has a cardinal importance in the evolution of the Islamist movement around the world. It became the ultimate cause, with which all militants, moderate or radical, identify themselves. It supersedes, in the Arab imagination, the Palestinian cause and symbolises the transition from nationalism to Islamism.

As far as the USSR and Russia, I only wonder how the past 30 years might have played out if we let russia join nato when the ussr fell. Putin has claimed he wanted to join in 2000 or so, and we turned them down.

How do you guys think that would have played out, how different would things have been if they were allowed to join.

Cant get over that huge fuck off statue, im not sure we could make a 37 foot bronze statue TODAY, you seen some of the NBA busts they make?
Stud you seem like a friendly fella but goddamn if you don't say some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Do you know that we currently have a 10-story tall fucking power hammer still running? Made with like 1950s tech? Jesus.
