$185 may seem pricey for a backpack but it really isn't for something of decent quality. I get the overall impression that LTT doesn't fuck around when it comes to product quality (although there have been some mishaps, which every company does when it comes to products).

Still, if I were in the market for a backpack I really wouldn't go for an LTT one.

Also, on the global website the backpack is $385 CAD which is $280 US dollars. So definitely not a budget option.

But considering he was supposed to be "the" tech guy there, I'm surprised he didn't 41% himself just for admitting he couldn't build and troubleshoot a fucking PC. Also somehow never just passively absorbed the basics of how to shoot a video while on set at LMG? Because I recall him mentioning that being another one of his hang ups mentioned at some point.

ProjectFarm reviewed commuter backpack if I'm not mistaken. It's 199 CAD, if it was 385 CAD as you said - it would be a no brainer to just get that expensive Nomatic one he tested instead of LTT. Also, I'll go with Nomatic on the off chance I need top tier backpack, so Linus don't get my peanuts

You immediately made me think of the guys I used to work with. That would drop subs and stereos in old cars without taking care of anything else to the point to where when they turn the volume up the fucking thing would stall... Unironically don't know who'd use this over a steam frame. Both are awkward, expensive, and make you look like a complete clown, but at least the frame is standalone compute, this shits tethered in. I really don't see the point if I have to sit in front of my computer/console anyway.

They sell two backpacks: the one reviewed in Project Farms was the commuter backpack and that indeed sells for $200 CAD and the other is their first and bigger backpack and that sells for $350 CAD.

Linus is smart when it comes to products. He subsidizes his clothing via the store and outfits himself and his family for cost-price outside from the normal personal preferences they would want. And a lot of the products they sell are spurred by Linus looking for something better the market isn't providing or at the very least good quality. I think the screwdriver is overpriced, but it reviewed well with Project Farms too.
