God what is with people today? If it mattered at all if a war was "legitimate", then putin's "illegitimate" war would've been stopped by the referees, or the hall monitors, or the War Fairy, or whatever entity these retards believe is in charge of overseeing warfare. International relations isn't a kindergarten classroom, and powerful countries have always been able to do whatever the fuck they want. That's why real countries (read: non-European countries) have always devoted so much time, effort, and money to ensure that they are as strong as possible. I can't fucking fathom being this naive. Tell your Facebook friend that his retardation is causing a sperg on Kiwifarms to type walls of text, and that I hate him.
Pigropeans are so buckbroken by bureaucrats that they cant imagine a world where you just do things without having to jump through a billion hoops and self imposed rules to achieve it.

@StudMccool

What do you think of this

Cutting stones and stacking them is very easy.

But its a skill and you gotta pay a bunch of people to havest the stone move them, cut them, and stack them,

Or you could pay a few people to drive a cement truck take a big old pump and do in an aftertoon what would take weeks.

ALMOST everything I try and point to building wise (with a few exceptions) is pre 1900s constructions

The VERY FIRST Truck was made in 1896

Prior to that, EVERYTHING IN ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY was moved by man or beast. I ask you simply how did we go about moving something modest like a 5 ton stone, forget it being a perfectly finished marble work of art, just a raw square stone would be damn near impossible to move with precision. Sure we had rudimentary cranes but that could BARLEY account for the vertical life, how are you moving and postinging ALL of these massive blocks of IMMACULATE BEAUTY with human strenght alone.

Let me give you one AMAZING example, the Philadelphia City hall, please zoom in on this guy and take in the detail, see just the statue on top, fucker is 37 feet tall.

This building STARTED construction almost 20 years before the invention of any truck, ALL of the material you see had to be quarried and brought to this place be CART AND WAGON

THIS IS THE MOTHERFUCKING STATUE ON TOP

HOW? how? HOW! I ask you?

before we invented trucks we somehow had a crane to not just pick that fucker up but put it OVER 500 feet up?!

ITS SOLID BRONZE, IT WEIGHS OVER 50,000 POUNDS

the sheer scale of this shit is MINDBOGGLINGLY
1767654152556.png

look at the columns, the statues HOW PERFECT IT ALL IS

Fuck, this super building is one of HUNDREDS across our nation all built in the 1800s before trucks and often largely in a virgin nation but that gut wrenching part is there is TENS OF THOUSANDS they have torn down or destroyed in so called "fires"

Cant get over that huge fuck off statue, im not sure we could make a 37 foot bronze statue TODAY, you seen some of the NBA busts they make?

We should add one injection to the proposed schedule. A cycle of testosterone that way no babies will grow up to be libtards. Healthy child has low T, doesn't do tren, becomes communist. Many such cases!

Edit: in terms of architectural autism one of the most impressive ones is the temple in Salt Lake City. If I remember right it was basically built using nothing but Oxen and hand tools for most of it and it's a really pretty building. I wish Mormons got more into architecture instead of being glowniggers. Their buildings are always really pretty.

people here also literally can't imagine a world where courts and judges aren't seen as god-kings in robes that have absolute power and ultimate authority to decide what is or isn't allowed to happen.
the judge question may seem bad in america, but in europe it goes a lot deeper, to the point where a large majority of the population here has internalized it as a self-evident fact of life and will vigorously defend it.
to most (western) euros, judiciary omnipotence is an absolute moral virtue, deviation from it is a sin, criticism of it is heresy.

Forgetting about boats and trains there.

Yes, yes we did. The statue was made of 14 pieces and each piece was raised individually by a derrick crane. Keep in mind that this was 1894, so in the midst of the industrial revolution. Cranes are not a new concept, not at all.
Edit: A contemporary sketch of it being assembled on the ground. Each piece was cast individually over the course of 2 years.

Crazy to think that, other than Trump and maybe Eric Adams, I can't remember any other instance of a politician getting arrested for anything, in recent history that is.
Hence why I find it difficult to take Trump's tweet seriously. I am still waiting on Hillary Clinton to get arrested. Any day now...

What about that congressman that lied about everything? The one that was caught being a gay crossdresser in Brazil or some such nonsense.

We did start using trains once they were available. Even then the process still took 40 years. I've attended a session inside it. It is glorious. I am hoping the remodel preserves most of it.

The rest of the world is 1000's of years older than the US and has WAY more impressive buildings built before the US was even an idea. It's not exactly hard to figure out.

I guess I should've specified in the US.

Honestly, sometimes things operate on levels that I cannot fathom or even begin to understand. I have to assume it's either extremely fucking hard or extremely unpopular/harmful to the point where it's not worth to jail a political opponent and having them step out of politics is the best outcome one can hope for.

I also place some of the blame on the people, as much as I don't like to. If people were protesting with pitchforks and torches outside of Walz house chanting "ARREST THE RETARD, it'd be a lot easier.
