You say when the pendulum swings back but it never really started swinging to the right. Again, it needs to be said both times Trump was elected it only seemed like some culture war shift online. Talking to people offline paints the very clear picture that it was always far more about economic shifts than cultural ones. That and the media's attempts to remove Trump made them focus only on Trump. Biden's term also was the only election where plenty of stage was given to Trump's opponent. As if the problem is people really are easy to sway the votes of simply by them constantly being talked about. If Bidens economy didn't suck, and the news stopped airing 25/8 Trump with maybe 15 seconds of Kamala and Joes, everyone knows that Trump would have lost. It's not a cultural shift, Elon buying Twitter didn't change much as most Americans don't even have a Twitter, what happened was everyone was constantly yapping about Trump this and Trump that. To the point where it was Trump and other guy. Not Harris and Trump. The presidency is decided by votes not elites. If the only guy people hear about fro a year is Trump who do you think they're going to vote for?
Trump sucks, definitely worse than Obama, and only better than Biden for sheer entertainment value. But I'm not going to pretend culture just dipped 180. Obama drone striked far more communist and middle eastern dictators, he put more brown kids in cages, deported more illegal migrants, held back lgbt rights back further and gripped harder (at least Trump didn't try to hold back rights 70% of the country agreed with until his re-election came up), was far heavier into capitalist investments, bailed out more jewish elites,
The real meat and potatoes is this. Trump is left of Obama but also says the words retard and faggot in public. If it was just the culture shifting, it shifting to the left would be precisely why a more left leaning candidate like Trump would be elected, especially as the leader of a typically more conservative party. Trump's dumbass investments, fetish for tariffs, and fat rolls that bounce more than tits in a Japanese anime game, are all good reasons to laugh at him. Because ultimately, what has Trump done that moved him right of Biden or Obama's terms? Banning cosmetic surgeries for minors, most people didn't even know that was going on, it was only banned because people thought it was already illegal? Capturing far right dictators the people living there praise us for, yeah voters don't like regime change wars but we also don't like genocide and when one props up you gotta flip a coin between allow genocide or fight a pointless regime change war? Calling out state level fraud to make sure their laws are actually enforced, yeah those facilities were already being investigated for said fraud, sure Nick didn't really add anything, those organizations were already set for prison soon? He's a fat retard yes. But objectively the culture didn't shift right to put him in power.
