There's also the time they laid a perfect ambush in a house, even waiting until the American machine gunners were in view to open up... and while they were shooting at the machine gunners to take them out of the action the riflemen just rushed them, threw some grenades into the openings, and took the Germans prisoner. They did everything right according to German doctrine, but nobody told them American infantry doctrine was less about machine guns and more about getting in the opposition's face.
