Almost 20 hours later and you're still at it after having countless people answer your sniveling questions, couldn't be me. We performed a decapitation strike while also showing we can(and do have) complete air dominance over their territory. Removing the entire government would have been difficult and bloody/ unnecessary. The ones who remain can talk a big game but they know the score. If they want to continue to be obstinate little shits then we'll do it again to the next tin pot dictator. That's the point of doing it how we did, we removed the current figurehead and show his underlings what were capable of so now the ball is in their court if they want to cooperate.
That's a cope and a poor excuse. It has nothing to do with conditioning from the outcomes of previous conflicts, initiated by the US. The Iran strikes already showed we are capable of attacking and removing threats without any boots on the ground. Hell, Obama's strikes barley got any coverage but no one was crying like it would start WW3. Anyone who's "reacting negatively" to this operation has fallen to the propaganda and conditioning of the media. It's bad in their minds because Trump did it and they refuse to think further than that. Just like the people who only think it's good because Trump did it. No it was good because we removed a fucking communist dictator who killed dissenters and now Venezuela has a chance to return to being a prosperous nation like in 1950. A chance they wouldn't have without this attack.

I don't think it validates inaction, but I do think it's valid to ask it in the context 'what is next for this country'? Because our record for nation building/rebuilding hasn't exactly been stellar the last few decades, or to what degree we even involve ourselves in that.
