2025 US and Venezuela Conflict - Operation Just Cause 2: 2 Just 2 Cause

That Aus youtube channel covering defense economics, Perun, said when Midnight Hammer was launched into Iran that the US was the only country on earth who could do such a thing. To have the tankers, the B2 Spirits and the munitions and intel required to pinpoint the location of then Iranian nuclear facility.
Here in Venezeula, the US has also shown it's the only country on earth with this capability. The intelligence network to infiltrate Maduro's inner circle and provide real time information on his location, the necessary air power pinpointing and neutralizing military targets in and around the heavily fortified capital, the training of special forces and pilots to work on an operation like this to the point that there were no casualties and they got their HVT out alive. China couldn't do this, Russia definitely couldn't do this, the EU wouldn't want to do something like this.
That general during the speech said they trained for months and that an operation like this only comes together when everything is right and I agree. I think people are kind of in awe at just how smooth an operation like this was carried out due to how many things could have gone wrong.
Desert storm was insane as well, in six months we took out saddam, had only a few hundred deaths with tens of thousands of iraqi army deaths. General Shwartzkopf blitzkreiged the fuck out of Iraq beautifully. This is what Russia should’ve been able to do in Ukraine and what they thought they would do. Muh special two week operation turned out to be a fucking years long war with tens of thousands of Russians dead for every inch of Ukraine they manage to take.

He got the deal.

LOL

You’re actually stupid if you think this is a trump thing and not a deep state glowie thing. The wars and regime changes in South America will continue even if a democrat wins in 2028. This is like saying to George bush that invading the Middle East is retarded because a democrat will just end it all in 2008.
I mean it looks like the trial is going into a deep blue district under a judge who has already obstructed Trump's policies before, so he'll make it into a circus where Maduro gets acquitted handily. What do the glowies have to gain from this, besides demoralization?

it’s beyond blue or red. He’s not going to be acquitted.

Right now, I saw declarations of Republican representatives to demand Edmundo Gonzalez and MCM became president, be right now after a planned chavista surrrender or after to make "free" elections.

In my opinion, like everybody is talking in my apartament building right now: Trump Admin is going to try make new people and appoint with the finger the new president. Maybe a MAGAtard populist right-wing like Milei or Bolsonaro but unknown by everybody.

Has Lula said anything about this yet? I'm curious if he is going to start towing party line and realize American gibsmedat are better than that Socialist Latin America unity bullshit he and Hugo Chavez preached in the 2000s. The whole operation does kind of feel like a message for belligerent Latin American states in general, Venezuela was just the target because Maduro has burned a lot of goodwill with neighboring countries and they all hate Venezeuelan refugees.
Lula will die defending the bankrupt socialist project for Latin America

He dreams of being Maduro and our luck is that he's too incompetent and Brasil is way harder to throw into a socialist dicatorship. But the signs are still there: political arrests, both against opposition as well as against citizens

For those who don't know: STF (Brasil's supreme court) denied home arrest to two sick elderly women (ages between 70~80) arrested for "anti democratic terrorism". Threw them in a common prison to die. Lula is as criminal as Maduro and would be as savage as he was if given the means to do so

To bad Trump started a fight against this but backed out, because Lula's regime won't quit their quest in turning Brasil into the next Venezuela anytime soon

Is the military likely to let the (less disciplined, more ideological) paramilitaries run wild? Or will the military leadership try to stabilize things and restrain them?

I assume all of the formal military's senior leadership is loyal to Maduro, but maybe some are more pragmatic than ideological?
I doubt it. While the Chavista movement had its roots in the Venezolano army, it's where Hugo Chavez got his start, I do not think their military forces have been maintained.
Last I saw pictures they were training like fat women to hold rifles. I cannot image the army is still Chavista in anything other than name.

Brazil, Mexico and Colombia have a decade trying to reach the Bolivarian apotheosis. And become "The presidente"

It's becoming increasingly obvious maduro made the deal to abandon the country and just let it all burn.

Americans securing his wife and his kid is just one fine example of that.

Most likely he is going to give trump everything, including testifying against Democrats.

It will be.....epic.

When you have plans of pillaging your own country for cash. You will eventually be forced to choose between picking Loyal soldiers, or good soldiers. The military system was changed by Chavez to value loyalty above everything else.

I know it's been said before, but it bears repeating: It is simply incredible how the liberal is able to completely shut down when confronted with ANY logical arguments and ignore everything because Trump. It is impossible to compromise with them or hold them to the same standard. They will turn around and say the thing they just said was good, is actually bad now that Trump is doing it. They are literally just unthinking hypocrites.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrest_of_Rodrigo_Duterte
The former president of the Phillipines was arrested in March 2025 and sent to the Hague because the ICC charged him with extrajudicial killings during the Phillipine drug war. This is a larger, more imperialistic power arresting a former president and flying him across the world to face justice in a different country. The liberal will look at this and clap, saying it is so wholesome and globalist pilled that the ICC and Interpol was able to capture this dangerous murderer and bring him to justice.

It just continues to be staggering. This is literally indistinguishable from what just happened last night to Maduro, and liberals will not admit it, because the ICC is also charging Netanyahu with war crimes, and they love global police states as long as it's not Trump who is directing them. It's an illegal crime when Trump does it, and it's blind justice when the ICC does it.

How dumb do you have to be to compare the unilateral arrest of maduro, who was not considered a wanted fugitive internationally by anyone besides the US, to the arrest of duterte, who was arrested during an operation.... led by Philippine police. You have to actually be retarded to equate these things. Kill yourself, immediately.

The only authority that matters is America. No one cares if Europeans want someone arrested.

When socialists fraud the elections, arrest the opposition and censor the internet, it's easy. They arrested Bolsonaro over "crimes" that does not exist in the law, as well as people allied to him, and persecute people who question all of this. If i was vocal like i'm here on social media, i'd be facing legal charges

Apart from the lunatic socialist sycophants, the average brazilian does not support Lula, Maduro or socialism

Socialism has destroyed all potential for growth we had

The idea of chavez rotting corpse, Venezuela's most sacred symbol of "anti american imperialism" being desecrated with heavy ordinance by an american furry is one of the funniest shits that could happen
We should not desecrate the rotting corpse of Hugo Chavez. We should fill the graveyard he is in with his old Bolivarian Party minions and the rest of the bolibourgeoisie to keep him company.

Newfag international law doesn't matter

Seeing Left fascists angrily protesting this afternoon really brightened up my day. I haven't heard of them being this upset since Hitler betrayed them in 1941.

Gee I wonder how you could compare a larger, more imperialistic power issuing an arrest warrant for another country's politician with... a larger, more imperialistic power issuing an arrest warrant for another country's politician.

If Venezuelan police helped arrest Maduro and extradite him to America, liberals still would not care. They would still call it an illegal action by Trump and his white nationalist christofascists. I don't think you understand, possibly because you're too charitable (or dumb).
