America actually has a good record of occupations so long as they’re not in the Middle East: Hawaii, the Philippines, West Germany, Japan, and Panama are all examples of occupations that paid major dividends. Cuba didn’t turn out great, but that wasn’t so much our fault.
 
Journalist finally does something useful, asks about the capture itself. "A lot of gunfire!" responds Trump.
 
Secretary of State Rubio: "The 47th President of the United States is not a game player. When he tells you that he's going to do something, when he tells you he's going to address a problem, he means it... This is something that was a direct threat to the national interest."

 
So basically a literal 3 hour war. Holy Shit. Though, not sure I like the US government planning to run the country in the interim. That's going to be unpopular at home.

I really hope the Feds keep a tight hold on Maduro. I could totally see an activist judge trying to release him. Especially to get brownie points from progressives. Already protests forming on the coasts over this.
