💼 Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin/Netanyahu simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. Lost a war to Iran and algae. THIS IS NOT USPG2.

Though the three hour special military operation is very impressive, I still have the feeling WH is going to royally screw it all up somehow.
It continues to be disconcerting that the keys to the finest military the world has ever seen is in the hands of someone with a worse temperament than my 9 year old nephew.

1. All the Venezuelans that left to the US to escape Maduro won't be so happy once Trump revokes their refugee status and tries to deport all their brown asses back.

This is absolutely going to happen, even if the Bolivarian government remains in power. Trump will simply announce that, with Maduro gone, the crisis is over and refugees can now be returned en masse.

2. At some point, these brazen attacks are going to cause someone to pull the same shit on the orange nigger. I can see it now: President Trump in foreign custody, MAGA in complete shambles.

It would have to happen with the assent of his successor, who is probably going to be Gavin Newsom, but a US president actually winding up in handcuffs at the Hague is really the only way to bring this kind of adventurism to an end.

I hope this happens soon. Most of these parasites are celebrating right now.

Edit: Called it.

Oh yeah. It's going to probably destabilize the shit out of Venezuela, too. That or one of Maduro's retarded ass-kissers will now be the dictator there which will be even worse
My hope is that the opposition takes control of the country. It'll be an interesting situation to watch regardless of who comes out on top. I didn't expect this to happen, but holy fuck it's satisfying especially since I've had nothing but utter disdain for that retarded bus driver.

I have the feeling the next guy in charge is going to get shot by Maduro supporters before shit hits the fan.

Maduro sucks but this is going to make Venezuela even more of a clusterfuck. And then there's the whole international law thing that fatty violated.

I'm afraid that no longer matters, HHH. Orange man thinks he's a great General now, and he will gleefully will be bombing other countries that he and his voting base can't find in the world map.
The saddest part is that now other countries are looking at North Korea and saying "maybe developing nukes wasn't a bad idea".

It's more likely to be taken over by a junta or Maduro's underlings. For the opposition to take over, you'd have to get at least the army to back them up.

Trump will install a puppet, things will become even more unstable there, and the end result will be more refugees flooding into the United States.

This doesn't make even a crumb of sense. Maduro was extrajudicially kidnapped by a foreign power, and brought back to New York to face charges? Charges under what legal code? America's? But he's not an American!

And we know it sure as hell won't be under Venezuela law. So what, then? UN/International law?

And does anyone remotely believe THIS DOJ can present compelling, real evidence under any legal code to get a just and valid conviction? This will be a kangaroo court and a mark of shame on the United States.

Just wait for Venezuelan oil to roll into the US. That's what this is all about. Rump doesn't give two shits about the drug trade.
Venezuela has one of the largest oil reserves outside of the middle east and Russia. This is a tactical decision to allow the US to invade Iran without creating too much economic pressure on the citizens. I hope miggers are ready to die for isreal in the middle east lmao.

Was going to sperg about the geopolitics of this and whether it'll lead Trump the peacemaker to further military action, but I'll forget all about this and focus on the lolcow stuff.

Based on all this, clearly in Trump's eyes (and his followers):
  • right-wing, crypto-loving LatAm drug-dealing dictator = good
  • left-wing, crypto-ambivalent LatAm drug-dealing dictator = bad
Also, he's spent the past five minutes of the press conference sperging about Epstein Files = bad. How can his followers cope with this shit?

Charging leaders in Burgerland is nothing new. See the president of Honduras Trump recently pardoned. However, to my knowledge, this has always occurred with countries willingly handing over people to be tried/imprisoned in the USA. This kind of capture is new, but there's nothing unusual about American courts charging people for crimes. Laws against bribery and drug trafficking have broad jurisdiction.

Putting him on trial in the US is legally sound. Capturing him, much less so.

As to whether they can make a case, they probably can. Trump, as I understand it, has highly exaggerated Venezuela's role in drug trafficking, but I'm sure they have good evidence against Maduro. He has been a dictator for a decade. Was that enough to justify this kind of operation? I don't think so, but it happened and I bet they can make a good case for his crimes.

Edit: LOL the indictment makes no mention of fentanyl, only cocaine and no other drug. Which is fair because that's mostly what Venezuela has access to. But Trump has justified this by millions of Americans dying. I don't think cocaine overdoses are a drop in the bucket.

Trump literally just said that most of the drugs killing people come from Venezuela. As always, his statements contradict what his officials actually say.

Developing nukes or just holding on to them (unlike post Soviet Ukraine for the warm piss of international promises) indeed seems a very good idea to avoid being fucked about for random reasons.

Venezuelans throughout LatAm has caused tensions and strains and is a big reason behind the revival of right-wing governments. If Trump boots out Venezuelans, Chile, Argentina and others will follow.

Absolutely insane to kidnap the leader of a foreign country and extradite them to the US. Beyond insane. This will make everything everywhere dramatically worse, and further erodes American credibility in the eyes of the world. America cannot claim to care about justice and international law while doing shit like this.

I'm conflicted about this. On the one hand, this is absolutely something Congress needed to authorize. On the other hand, I have no sympathy for Maduro.
Maduro had to go, but there needs to be a process for removing him.
Look at what happened in Irak, Afghanistan and other countries that were "democratized" by the US.

For a moment I squinted my eyes and thought that was Dr. Disrespect.

The Philippines provided a playbook for this. Get him in prison on domestic charges so he can’t escape on the jet. Then turn him over to The Hague. Bibi could easily end up there in this manner. He’s got a hostile Supreme Court and a fragile coalition in the Knesset, unlike Trump’s iron grip on Congress and the Supreme Court.
For Trump, it’d be much more difficult. Possibly get him on state charges that he expects to beat, then ship his ass off.

It might actually be better to focus on people like the kids, Jared, Bannon, and Stone. They’re younger and don’t have the “I’m about to die anyways” card.
