Some thoughts regarding the Ukrainian drone attack that targeted President Putin.

The attack meets two of the criterion set forth in the “Fundamentals of State Policy of the Russian Federation on Nuclear Deterrence”, published on December 3, 2024, regarding acts of aggression designed to be deterred by Russia’s nuclear deterrence forces.

This includes “Aggression by any state from a military coalition (bloc, alliance) against the Russian Federation and (or) its allies is considered as the aggression by this coalition (bloc, alliance) as a whole”, and “Aggression against the Russian Federation and (or) its allies by any non-nuclear state with the participation or support of a nuclear state is considered as their joint attack.”

Ukraine operates as part of a NATO bloc whose stated objective is the strategic defeat of Russia. Ukraine’s targeting of the Russian President constitutes “actions by an adversary affecting elements of critically important state or military infrastructure of the Russian Federation, the disablement of which would disrupt response actions by nuclear forces.”

Had the Ukrainian attack succeeded, Russia would have carried out massive nuclear retaliation against all of Europe.

I don’t think the world understands how close it came to nuclear Armageddon.

Russia has no choice but to re-establish deterrence modalities by physically destroying Ukraine as it currently exists.

The current Ukrainian government cannot be viewed as a negotiating partner, but rather as a terrorist entity that must be eliminated in its totality.

I believe the Trump administration understands this.

Europe does not.

The examination of the drone debris by Russian special services will provide specific technical data pertaining to the targeting data used by Ukraine, which in turn will point to specific sources and methods used to collect and prepare this data for use by Ukraine.

In short, there can be no doubt Russia possesses incontrovertible intelligence information that establishes a European connection to the Ukrainian attack on President Putin.

Europe must be put on notice that it is culpable in the actions of the Zelensky regime, and that any effort or actions that facilitate continued Ukrainian strikes against the critical national security infrastructure of the Russian Federation (the Russian President, as the sole authority for release of Russian nuclear weapons, fits this definition) will be treated as a hostile act by Europe capable of triggering a Russian nuclear response.

In the coming days and weeks, one can expect to see Russian actions designed to target and eliminate the totality of the Zelensky regime.

Anything less than this would make moot the purpose of a Russian nuclear doctrine in the first place, and Russia under President Putin does not have a history of engaging in meaningless word games at the strategic level.

2026 will be the last year Ukraine in its current manifestation exists.

The question now is whether the same can be said about Europe.

This and every single other attack they do is just a game of optics, they're trying to make Russia look bad and "weak" by deliberately attacking them in a way that is technically insignificant in the grand scheme of the conflict but on paper is the exact way of attack described in their nuclear doctrine that would trigger a nuclear retaliation. It is pure provocation.
 
Europe is discovering three painful truths:

– It cannot defend itself without the US. NATO’s European pillars lack ammunition, industrial capacity, and high-end military technology.

– Sanctions have weakened Europe more than Russia. Energy-intensive industries in Germany, Austria, and Italy are relocating to the US. Deindustrialisation is underway in Europe.

– The peace negotiations will not include Europe as a co-author. Europe will receive the final document, but not be invited to shape it.

This is why European strategists are furious: the security architecture that defined the continent is being rewritten over their heads.

MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin inspected the Moscow Center for Photonics on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Zelenograd (Alabushevo site) and said that the production of photonic integrated circuits will begin by the end of 2025.

"Technopolis Moscow is the country's largest special economic zone, which implements a number of key areas of our country's technological independence. In particular, projects such as pharmaceuticals and microelectronics are being implemented here in Zelenograd," Sobyanin said on Thursday.

The area of the Moscow Center for Photonics is 26.7 thousand square meters. The created capacities will allow the production of up to 100 thousand products per year.

"And now we have begun to develop another unique, key area for our country - the development of photonics. On behalf of the President, a project is being implemented to build a plant for the production of photonic integrated circuits. The building has been built, equipment is being supplied, commissioning is underway. I hope that by the end of the year we will receive new products that are unique for our country," the mayor said.

The Moscow Photonics Center, the world's only production of photonic integrated circuits based on three technologies, has opened on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ in Zelenograd. The start of the enterprise was given by the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Anton Alikhanov and the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin.

The products that will be produced at the photonics center will become the basis for the introduction of 5G technologies in Russia, the development of unmanned vehicles, and the construction of new data centers, Sobyanin said in his channel in MAX. Photonic integrated circuits are characterized by compactness and energy consumption, high speed of information transmission and processing. In addition, they make it possible to reduce the cost of the final product compared to foreign analogues by up to 30-50%.

The center is equipped with modern high-tech equipment. In the first quarter of 2026, the Moscow Microelectronics Testing Laboratory is expected to start operating here. It will replace 70% of the services of foreign laboratories, which are necessary for the development of most high-tech industries.

For the first six months, production will work in test mode. From June, up to 500 thousand products per year should begin to be produced here. In the future, the Moscow Center for Photonics will launch the production of optical modules that simplify the connection of network equipment to fiber-optic communication lines, the mayor said.

According to AMK, Russian gains for the year of 2025 are at 5,559 square kilometers; I'm not sure if this estimate includes the land liberated after the Ukrainian Kursk incursion which would bring that number up to 6,000+ if it's not already included.
Weeb Unions estimate is a net of 6,200 square kilometers.

Isn't it obvious? a few old german SS barracks and execution pits. Theres nothing more traditionally ukrainian than shooting other slavs, especially russians, to promote the objectives of a foreign power. Its not like germany isn't practically giddy about this war after all
