That's not really a flex, I assume it's mostly ebooks which go for $1.50, of which you get 60-70%.

I just took a gander at his Goodreads and that's a fairly accurate summary. The works that appear to be original are not well received. Some of the reviews are absolutely brutal, but there's also a lot of "I saw this guy on YouTube so I figured I'd pick up one of his books".

I don't really sell ebooks. I sell actual copies. The entire point was to overpower the crappy 30-apiece copies being ripped directly from archive.org by dropping the price by more than half so everyone could enjoy them. I am proud of my work. I couldn't believe it when I found that half the works on spiritualism, the paranormal, herbalism, etc, were literally just ripped from the archives. They weren't even edited just slapped in with a new cover. I was trying to get a copy of the Lesser Keys only to find most of the copies were thirty bucks and were already free digitally. At that point, I took action.

I hand edit all of my releases and dropped the price by more than half. Yes, it's niche, but my catalog does pretty good. I have also sold tens of thousands of copies of my own self authored works.

As I also get royalties from work I've done in the past, I 100% guarantee you this is the all-time (15 years) total amount from every sale. Not an unimpressive number, even if it's spread out over that amount of time. Generally speaking, royalties are at their peak when the product/work is initially released.
Random spikes are quite uncommon, although they do happen. Marketing, algorithms, and many other factors play in to this, but generally speaking it's a decline from the get-go. If you do what he did and have many works out there constantly, it's a slow and steady trickle unless you're constantly keeping up with it, which is VERY hard to do when you're an unmotivated and lazy alcoholic.
