Again, I don't think the terms are well defined, but there's nothing about LLMs or similar AIs that prevents you from incorporating them into architectures that do have state and memory, or incorporating memory and state in a more fundamental way.

I've taken to watching clips of old late night shows (e.g. Carson) and it's insane. It's like a completely different format and IQ level of show. 20-minute conversations between erudite people. Incidentally, there have been a lot more fire fighter deaths in NY as of late. This month alone I saw like 3-4 Hearse cars and firetrucks hanging the american flag over the streets near churches.
