Speaking of VHS it still pisses me off that Star Wars Episode III never got a NA release.

Episode I and II both got VHS releases but they just never bothered to finish it out with III. It was 2005 so sure VHS was kinda on the way out, but major studios didn't stop making tape releases until 2006, so they could've very easily made one for III.

The worst part is the UK DID get a vhs release, and so did Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Japan, but NOT the US. So if you're an American collector you're fucked, your lineup will always have a big ugly gap in it for no reason. You can't even replace it with the PAL version because the box is a clamshell and not a sleeve and the box art looks nothing like the US I and II ones.

(also it's really rare so you'll have to pay like 300 bucks for it anyway)

You notice how this says "Prime" Rib Roast but it's really an Angus (big fucking whoop-marketing) choice grade roast.

I've been observing that the meats offered at the regular stores are all Choice and even though it's supposed to be just one grade down from Prime, there's actually a scale within that grade as well. And the cuts are getting worse insofar as good marbling. We have to get pricey stuff from the butcher thick enough that can be reverse-seared on the rare occasion that we partake of good steaks anymore. We've been doing a lot of low-and-slow braising lately with ribs and roasts.

Thinking seriously about getting a sous vide machine, all things considered.

well because (I'm a meat cutter) Prime is now so marked up in price, its just no realistic for grocers to carry them to sell, its like upwards of 44 dollars a pound for Prime Ribeye, its absurd, its so expensive I hardly count it as food and more just something like expensive caviar, a treat at best.

There is some flooding in the Los Angeles area and San Francisco area. It's not the entire state that's on flood watch. Aside from the 2 places I mentioned it's just some higher than average rain and wind.
