My steelman on this is that glowniggers would lose too many blackmail assets if the uncensored list came out (If it's not heavily altered by now)
I don't personally defend that; I merely state that blackmail is the bread and buttet of any empire and letting chomos escape justice is peanuts compared to global objectives being met.
As for Trump, at best, he knew about it but did not partipate.
If he truly was involved you'll have to ask
1. Why did the feds sit on this for years?
2. This info was known and available during previous Presidential admins before him. Why didn't they out him when he was running?
I don't approve how Trump 180'd on this and I personally don't fault anybody for at the very least being suspicious of him.
It's a mess and I wish there was more info to establish a stronger hypothesis
Trump doesn't need to have done anything to kids to get fucked via an association to Epstein, he'll get fucked by the implication of knowing shit he should've done something about, even if he genuinely didn't know.
The smoking gun of evidence for that is any proof of personal contact during/after 2008, or more damningly 2011. Even if Trump is innocent any sex stuff, instances of personal correspondence after 2007 (Epstein's ban from Mar-a-lago due to trying to molest a teenage girl) calls into question whether Trump knew more than he was letting on. He already kept mum on Epstein but I doubt he knew it was larger than just "he's into young girls" and left it here rather than circulate it.
He already maintained contact after Epstein's 2005 conviction (hence the prior claimed cut-off date of 2004) which is bad enough, but after 2008 or during 2011 and he's in the same situation as Prince Andrew sans sex stuff. Andrew was buddy buddy with Epstein until the later half of 2011 when all the stuff Epstein was being convicted on was proven true and suddenly everyone of note (famous) who knew him reeled and cut contact/friendships. This is when everyone else learned of his nature I think but Trump had already become privy to Epstein being a definitive nonce in 2007 - 4 years earlier.
What Trump likely wasn't aware of was all the sex trafficking stuff, which'd get called into question if he maintained contact after 2008 or 2011.
Anyway, how many of the redacted names are european leaders, and how much of this is literally twisting their arms to force them into doing what the US wants?
The only people who've been arrested or punished by their government due to their connections to Epstein have been European. You have people in the US government who were texting Epstein live during some panel who still occupy their position. Considering Europe is just as spiteful now as they were I think many redactions are to minimise as much corporate and political blowback as possible, even if it's just a bunch of senators, retired or active. I don't think anybody here even looked into the senators mentioned in the unredacted interview I went autistic on (myself included) which I suppose I should ameliorate at some point.
One European leader we know though who may have had an Epstein connection is a former British PM, but Giuffre didn't spill any details for whatever reason. She might've been 18 when she had sex with him so maybe she thought people would care less or something, or she already accepted a settlement from him at some point to keep quiet about and so only alluded to the possibility. If you want to hazard a guess select any British PM that that was alive during the 90s/early 2000s and then take a guess. (John Major would my realistic one, but Blair would be the most satisfying).
Epstein did have Israeli political connections but I don't know deep they go beyond Ehud Barak, which, admittedly, is a pretty big one by itself and helped get him some work after the 2011 conviction.
I've always wondered if we're supposed to take everything at face value or assume that Forrest is an unreliable narrator because he's retarded in that movie.
Like there are certain things we know to be true (Bubba Gump Shrimp exists, Jenny exists and was a whore) because they happen after the bench scene or outside of Forrest's narration, but the movie also seems decidedly less fantastical and more grounded when Forrest isn't the one recounting.
But yes, Forrest essentially was just handed everything in his life. He made very few actual decisions for himself and just more or less did whatever people told him to do and it happened to work out for him. Epstein actually connived and climbed the ladder of his own volition.
We need the Epstein movie in the same vein as Forest Gump, only with a protag like DiCaprio's character from Wolf of Wallstreet. People will think he's a Mary Sue with how often he gets away with shit until the ending, only for him to escape true justice and deprive the audience of catharsis via an offscreen suicide/implied murder...
Then the after-credits show the camera footage of his cell in full and show he managed to escape - alive, with the suspected assassin as being his escort. The audience is both angry he remains on the loose but also strangely happy because it means an opportunity for him to get his rightful comeuppance in the sequel.
