The thing about Trump that blows me away is that people seem to forget that yeah his first term wasn't that great, but this was a guy who literally went into the highest office of politics with ZERO experience and zero help.
Everybody wanted him to fail, they treated him like he was a joke, they did everything they could every step of the way to hinder him, and when you take those handicaps into account I think he did pretty well.
People think I'm crazy when I say this but I'm kind of glad that the 2020 election was stolen from him. I don't want to get too into the weeds about it, but in my opinion it was stolen by the media blaming him for things that weren't his fault and covid, but that's neither here nor there.
The point is not being the president for a term helped him sit back and plan out what he would do if he came back as the commander and chief.
I don't know if other people noticed this he still acts like a New York prick, but after his triumphant return in 2024 he was acting way more
presidential. It was like he had to take a beating on the first term and went to the nine count before he got back up and hopefully he'll win the fight. Time will tell on that one, because pretty much everything is riding on our ability to keep either the house, the senate or both to get shit done.
I'm really hoping that Chuck Schumer shuts down congress again because that was already a catastrophe that will cost them votes next year.
Run it back, Chuck. I want to see your stupid ass think it'll be effective the second time
