who was it that was asking for a marine-focused ship that could allow helicopter landings and takeoffs easily? seems like that first image shows exactly that.
It looks like it will normal aviation facilities for a principal surface combatant. It's basically the same thing as the Flt 3 Burkes. A few ASW helicopters and that'll be that. We have ships for allowing helicopters to land and takeoff easily. They're called LHAs and LHDs.

I swear to God if they commission one of these and name her Galactica it will be the single most awesome thing our military has done in decades. Yeah yeah, I know it's not a "battlestar," but we can't build those yet (as a species) so this will have to do for now.
I don't like science fiction stuff but I watched that remake from 2004 with Edward James Olmos and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
A war crime is whatever America says it is.
Believe me if the Nazis would have won the war, they wouldn't have been talking about all that war crime nonsense.
Or maybe America would be on trial for the fire bombings of Tokyo, the unnecessary bombing of Dresden and I seem to remember dropping the fucking sun on Japan two separate times.

yes but they want one specifically for the marines, so maybe this one will fulfill their dream.

shouldn't we name it the atlantia? that was the overall fleet capital ship, before everyone was forced to escape on galactica.

robert mcnamara was quoted as saying, "[General Curtis] LeMay said, "If we lost the war, we'd all have been prosecuted as war criminals". And I think he's right."

were they shitposting that we should give up? that the british were just too strong and they would never be beaten, and george washington has a bunch of niggers on his land, and i heard they don't even KILL their niggers when they're not useful. why would want that fag to lead a revolution. ben franklin is too much of a pussy hound, all the jews will have to do is give him a pretty woman and he's controlled. thomas jefferson, jesus christ, that dude was basically the fifth column, we can't let him be part of the foundations of our country.

this is the level of demoralization they're on. they're trying to tell us that because some people have some flaws, NO solutions should ever be taken. just let yourself lose, forever more.

kino. pure kino.
No, I don't think we should give up. Quite the contrary, I think we should more loudly demand better candidates that actually represent our best interests, and hold candidates accountable when they openly tell us that we are evil for prioritizing our people. You mistake a critique of your preferred candidate as giving up on the concept of America or victory, which is not true. Regardless, there is an ultimate solution, it's just increasingly unlikely that it will be at the ballot box. You make the mistake of thinking that losing faith in Republicans means losing faith in victory.

You wanted creditable proof that Vance can walk the walk, while talking the talk. Now you have it. The cons of something can be out weighed by the pros. The ills of America took decades to enact, and it will take time (hopefully not decades) to correct them. Trump hasn't even been in office an entire year. As much as we joke Trump is the God-Emperor, he is ultimately just one old man who has his to think about 20 serious separate issues daily. He was never going to right every wrong day, week, month, or year one; and as much as I don't want to admit, there will be issues Trump will not get fixed this term. Only God can move heaven and the earth. However things are shifting in the right direction. Vance just got up on national television and said its okay to be White. Do you think that would have even been possible a year ago? Two? Three? Does that sound like just more neocon bullshit? Do you think Trump and Vance didn't talk about his remarks before he said them? Do you think Trump wouldn't have nixed those remarks if he was just another boomer? You admit things are getting better in some respects. Yet that isn't a selling point? A fire storm starts with a spark. The inferno burning down the liberal order is happening. Life will get better.
Well, I didn't think the BBB was that useful, but it is a lot more than a tweet so I will concede the point, and it's something, which is nice. That being said, Trump has been in office for five years, not one. I know everyone wants me to forget that Trump was a total failure the first time around, but I did not forget his first presidency being a big wet fart of disappointment, culminated by half a year of nigger riots he refused to quell, or even meaningfully criticize. I still have a very bad taste in my mouth about that, which is a big part of why I am hesitant to buy a lot of the rhetoric I am being fed; last time I was promised a burger and got a turd.

No, that doesn't sound like neocon talk, but it's also a bit hard to be excited about it when he also in that exact same speech pushed the exact same civic nationalist rhetoric that is standard neocon talk (I just pulled it up on Youtube). All I can say is that if the next few years prove me to be wrong, then I will happily admit as such. I can give every presidency credit on some victories, even with Biden, but if the trend of little victories continues to add up over the next few years, then maybe I will change my tune. I can't really promise anything beyond that. Ultimately it's on them to let their actions do the talking.

The U.S. Navy is a visible symbol of American strength and resolve to defend our Nation throughout the globe — and it requires the most capable and advanced Fleet. America’s next battleship, the USS Defiant, will be part of a new class of large surface combatants with the most destructive fire power of any surface ship to ever sail — having the ability to strike an adversary at 80x the range of the previous class. The Trump-class Battleship will be the first-ever guided missile battleship with the ability to deploy with nuclear and hypersonic missiles.

They intend to build at least 20 of these things.

But they were still classed as battleships in the US until they started using the term fast battleship.
Fast battleships ended up with the doctrinal role of heavy escorts for the carriers, with the older and slower battleships being used to support amphibious landings. I suspect that the intended role of this modern battleship is somewhere in between.

he truly thought his position being a lock was because he had a dynasty going, but his numbers are fucking dogshit now. he has basically ignored what the people who actually vote for him have been calling in, writing letters about, and demanding at his local appearances because he got so caught up on the high from this epstein shit he forgot that his job is supposed to be a fucking house rep for kentucky district 4, not the savior of epstein's victims. it doesn't help that every time he brings up the epstein files, even his twitter suckers shift further and further away from him.
It is hard to figure out what went wrong in that retard's brain. My best guess is that his lolbert need to counter-signal his own party got the best of him, and he thought being the #1 Epstein Crusader was the winning move to be Le True Principled Lolbert and tilt at Trump without losing his base.

trump specifically saying that one of the reasons they want to modernize the navy is that they know it will revitalize american shipyards is exactly the kind of thing you want to do. you want to look steps ahead of your action and see knock-on effects, and i'm very glad to hear that was one of his stated reasons. the shipyards being so long-forgotten in this country has contributed to its manufacturing decline almost as much as the loss of the jobs themselves. the fact that they want the defiant by 2030 is very impressive, and i have faith that our American engineering can make it happen.
Now we just need to somehow bring back car manufacturing to the States. One of the causes of Detroit turning into the shithole it is now is the auto industry leaving.

The new battleship design is intriguing, I hope that at least one gets built and put into service. Worst case scenario it ends up in development hell with nothing to show for years from now.

Fuck nigga, this is enough to make a grown man cry. Also nuclear armed. KINO
So what are the odds on this actually being built? Looks like a Ticonderoga replacement that happens to crib all of the good ideas from the Zumwalt.
They will need to be slave drivers with both navy brass and the shipyards... but it can be done
A war crime is whatever America says it is.
Based and redpilled

do you know what the founding fathers did when they didn't like how their territory was being represented? they went onto forums and complained about it, and did nothing else, and just acted like fat retarded idiots who were incapable of doing anything but making the nanny state do something for them.
"Friendly Reminder fellow Americans that we deserve to lose, Washington is a bum who can't beat the British and who's greatest achievement in the war so far is retreating. The American revolution is fucking dead and King George will soon successful take back control. Niggers are literally joining the British to fight as well it's fucking over bros. Freedom will never happen bros #FellForItAgain"
