I've mentioned this before, but this applies to channels like Moon, Knight, Horses, Neo, Shaun, Coop, Polyphonic, Modernity, ColdFusion, Brew, or Abstract. These are just the ones off the top of my head. I've seen smaller channels that have really generic one-word names too, but I can't be bothered to mention them. Like, there's a shitty To Catch a Predator reaction channel just called "Walls".

One-word YouTube channel names can be acceptable if they're completely original names, like Nerdrotic, Cadaber, Bandsplaining, Britmonkey, Disturban, Nexpo, Qxir, or Kitboga.

Also, mind you, my disdain for one-word names is not indicative of my opinion on said channel's content; in fact, I subscribe to some of them. I think Neo makes good video documentaries, for example -- it's just a shame the channel has such a shitty name. And likewise, my approval of original one-word named channels is not always an indication of my love or hate for those channels either. For example, I enjoy Qxir and Kitboga, but despise Britmonkey.

A little recentish and not specifically the youtuber themselves but DougDoug is incredibly average but don't out right hate the guy even though I only watched a few videos and wasn't amused. I like listening to Tekken soundtracks and got annoyed when people were spamming a joke from one of DougDoug's videos in every comment section of Unforgiven from Tekken 5.

Reminds me of JackSepticeye fans.
Even when I was younger and into his videos I fucking hated his fanbase. He's really cultivated the most parasocial fucking fanclub out there I think. They all flood his comments with shit like they actually genuinely believe they're friends and it's because the dude allows it, just to cry about when one inevitably crosses a line like when one fan showed up to his house. I see a lot of similar comments but his has to have the most "Jack I know you won't read this but I was really depressed and your videos cured my depression and stopped me from ending my life!!" comments out there. It's absolutely bizarre.
