I don't think it's a matter of needing to plead ignorance. Like I said, I don't believe she was savvy enough to have caught on in the first place and didn't seem to get mentioned elsewhere as being part of the group that actually knew.

Lindsay knew, because she and Holly were basically mean girls together, and they gossiped about it, but Kaylyn, Lewis, and even Spoony weren't allowed in the group. Funnily enough, neither was Allison despite the massive stink she made. Holly told Lindsay and her cohorts about JW trying to rape Mantis, but then six months later, or however long it was, when Kaylyn mentioned she'd be at a con with Justin, and that they were sharing a hotel room, none of them warned her what he'd done because at the time they were using the rape to try and destroy Lordkat for daring to say Lindsay was less than perfect.
Maybe something in her brain indicated as much, but she certainly never seemed capable of figuring out what that actually means other than being jealous about Vic, and then her weird roommate relationship with her husband.
Between Lindsay, Kaylyn, Lewis, Noah, and Justin, that whole CA group was just one big pile of dysfunctional personalities. As a fan 15 years ago, I thought that was just some comedic slapstick thing they pulled for laughs, but it turned out to be true. First, we saw Spoony crash out, then the Change the Channel shit, and now, damn near everyone who accused Doug of anything wound up with egg on their faces.

As an outsider to the weeb community, I never understood the hate towards Vic. Is it because he was Christian? I could tell from a glance that most accusations against him were bullshit.
