And trust me, in 23 he was having some horror stories on how they would pack up all the asylum seekers in school gym's because they had nowhere else to put them. It was honestly disgusting. But I can tell you, most people never cared about the Mexicans and Indians working landscaping and at your local 7/11, they cared about the Russians, Hundurans and Pakistanis sleeping in kids schools because the homeless shelters were all full and stabbing people and setting women on fire on trains and shit. It legitimately was fucking vile. I myself spent a brief moment in NYC that year too, and the city itself was mostly fine, but you walked into the designated sanctuary areas, one of which was in fact a school gymnasium and it looked genuinely disgusting, piss, shit and vomit everywhere. Homeless men and women as far as the eye could see. Police were there orbiting constantly, but they were the kind who wouldn't do a damn thing to either help the sick ones or stop any violent crimes but would absolutely try to stop you if you tried to help. It's like we imported 3rd worlders to bring the 3rd world here instead of improving any of their lives.

It was genuinely sick.

But considering I haven't seen any focus on that from Trump, I doubt that's been dealt with. And this was an actual problem, not immigrants mowing my lawn and doing plumbing.
