Leftists aren't drawn to Marx because he's smart or competent. They're drawn to him because he tells college-educated, insecure, angry people that their self-loathing and arrogance is are actually their strength.
He gives them a script where nothing is ever their fault. Blame the rich. Blame "elites." Blame Republicans, b. Blame anyone except the person in the mirror.
He turns classism and self-victimization into a political identity. He makes being a slave to corporate media feel heroic. And leftists eat it up because it saves them from having to learn, grow, or change.
They don't want leadership. They want validation for being pretentious. And Marx gives it to them every single day..

These are the same people who gleefully mocked the death of Charlie Kirk. At least this guy understands that we could have been righteous in saying way worse about this, but for the most part everyone is showing restraint... which is more than anyone can say about the loony left.

My girlfriend summed up communism better than anyone else I've ever heard sum it up: being a communist is a "get out of being a piece of shit free" card.
Live with your parents in your 30s? It's because the elites have made an impossible for you to get an apartment.
Have crippling student debt? It's not your fault that you went to university instead of a community college, it's the bank's fault that you took out a six-figure loan for a useless degree.
Don't have a job? That's because America is a first world country and everyone should have a universal basic income.
You are entitled to all of the gibs and goodies without putting any money into the pile because everybody knows that government programs and assistance is conjured magically out of thin air.
Keep spending those food stamps like they're going out of style even though you haven't had a job since breaking bad was on the air... Because everybody knows being an absolute fucking burden to the American taxpayer is how you're going to stick it to the billionaire elites.

I saw the trailer for this and of fucking COURSE it has Seth Rogen in it.
The commie elites in Hollywood trying to hijack a book about the danger of totalitarian communism sucked all the irony out of the room.

Other than 40 year old virgin... which was carried by the other actors in that movie, I have literally never found Seth Rogen funny. He's an annoying, stupid fucking kike and I hate the fact that he got famous for making gay jokes and being inappropriate and then pulled the ladder up behind him.
