“Hot” celebs who are not that attractive

With the popularity of kpop demon hunters here in the US, we'll probably start hearing more about the music here too.
You won't
to any significant degree. Look up the sopa school scandal and how quickly that was made to go away.
Otoh, hop across the sea to Japan and consider how many decades Johnny was raping little boys before anything was actually done about it. (It's not like people didn't know he was a pervert).
A really massive scandal will come eventually, but there's too much invested right now for that to be allowed to happen.

I feel sorry for them. I tried to find what they used to look back and I had to go back really young to find one where whatever is happening in the picture hadn't set in yet. Looking at them as children they seem like they could have grown up normal looking.

But then looking for that I found this more disturbing one where they're even younger and they're dressed in more adult dresses and make-up.

I don't really know anything about them other than they were some sort of child stars and that they're now fashion designers or something. But I look at the picture above and also the anorexic look in your picture and I kind of want to put 2+2 together and say something bad was happening to them in their childhood.

Like even here, I've no idea how old they are but they look young, and I can see it already happening - very thin, almost starved looking.

Their sister looks a bit that way too, though, so I guess it could be how the family looks. I have suspicions though.

They're 39 already. Damn I feel old. But years ago I remember there was a webpage full of perverts that had a countdown clock for when the twins turned 18. I might have come across it in an AOL chatroom or the LUE board on GameFAQs. Anyway, it was gross. Their kid oriented content was for kids. But their faces were plastered all over everything for years. So they attracted a lot of creeps.

They're as thin as pencils now. It reminds me of those Kate Moss billboards that people would vandalize with "feed me".

I always thought they were cute in their young adulthood; particularly Ashley. She has those big eyes.
The eating disorders and trauma took away their youth really quickly.

She's 20 here.

Oh it's been whispered about for years over all the abuse that happened throughout their lives. I'm actually impressed they handled it with grace and didn't go completely bonkers like Britney Spears, Amanda Bynes, etc. I fully understand why they're so sullen and withdrawn. I remember Mary Kate was likely very close to being under a conservatorship at one point.
Sloan has some nice youtube friendly videos about it.

My 10 year old self hot take: The Olsen twins weren't that cute as babies either.

Awwww baby Michelle is so cute!!!

On what fucking planet? She looked like a gremlin. Right on par with the baby on Dinosaurs.

My adult self does not quite feel that way and I laugh at how mad I used to be that everyone thought she was the best character on Full House.

Baby Michelle was cute. I liked Full House, but Bob Saget gives me the creeps.

I've been seeing a lot of reels on Facebook by this Tateova15 creator called "celebrities that are nice vs jerks" and it's amazing how often you can look at a celebrity and judge them correctly before the guy starts his story. Nothing on the Olsen twins though.

Honestly, I can ignore a lot of personality disorders but 'friend of Tony Blair' is too much even for my stoic heart.
Sort of takes it from hot BPD chick to wizened demon, doesn’t it? Boner killer extraordinaire I’d imagine.

I think simply being famous and not having anyone tell you no enough has to select for behaviour that’s atrocious. Ditto wanting fame. We are pretty good at judging faces as well. That roald Dahl meme is true.
They say keanu reeves is a nice chap, and I’m willing to believe that. He’s ageing pretty well too. 1964 was a good year for men
The ohlsen girls were really pretty, thry had beautiful eyes but there’s something uncanny about what’s been done to their faces. they all look, for want of a better term, shell shocked. The look like something very unpleasant has happened to them. Haunted.
I would hate to be famous.

Margot Robbie.

She's Okay I suppose, but her face just looks ever so slightly tight

More a kind of tainted/disgust reaction. Crazy dangerous chick can be hot. Pathetic, soiled chick not. It just.... devalues her. A man is not typically put off by a woman being crazy (would that we were!). But when you feel someone is beneath you, I don't think you can ever be attracted to them.

She’s not terribly relevant these days, but I’ve never understood the hype over Dita Von Teese. While I don’t think she’s hideous or anything, people used to talk about her like she’s the second coming of Marilyn Monroe. The platonic ideal of a bombshell sexpot.

To me, she’s a testament to the power of good vintage styling when it comes to making extremely average-looking women seem glamorous and a boring personality seem sexy and mysterious.

I don't know Dita is sorta reserved in her manner (in line with that 50's glamour) but seeing her up close when she performs she is memorising. I was lucky enough to see her perform, for 50 person crowd in the Martini glass about 10 years ago. She has an incredible stage presence that doesn't translate well to a big audience, unless you at less then 5 metres away. I will admit i find her very attractive but she also works her arse off to keep her figure. 100% she probably is obnoxious cunt but her waist is fine and her arse is nice.

Timothy (jew) Chalamet is ugly as sin but he makes a nice Muad'dib

Apparently this is the new dracula. Caleb Landry Jones. Whenever clips cone up in youtube shorts, ppl gush about how sexy and hot he is.
Personally, i think he looks like a mix between a frog and a deepsea creature.
Yeah that’s… well I’m not really into vampires anyway but that’s not exactly Gary Oldman level smouldering is it? He looks like he should be doing weed in a slacker movie.

Good Lord! I'm straight so I wouldn't really be a good calibration for what's attractive in a man. If guessing a man's attractiveness to women, I just default to strength/masculinity. Like I can see someone like Mel. Gibson being attractive to women I presume. But I cannot get my head around the murder-twink look being hot to them. Like the Timothy Chalemet sort. Anyway, this guy falls firmly into the category of weird, soft-looking egotist. I mean, he looks dangerous, sure - but only to women or if he were behind you.

I honestly didn't think Gary Oldman was good in the role - one of his rare misses, a very good actor but just horribly miscast (and bad film to boot). But at least Gary Oldman is discernibly male. Dracula is a warlord before he becomes a vampire. A leader of men, a slayer of Turks, a seducer of woman (perhaps).

This guy does not look like someone I would follow into battle and the vibe is not so much a seducer of women as a chloroformer.

There's something very, very wrong with Hollywood casting. Is there just a very high rate of homosexuality amongst casting people and producers? Is it because of all those soft people who think there's something extra dangerous when they cast someone weak looking / effeminate in a role? Is it that segment of female audience that is intimidated by an actually masculine male but still wants to be scared of a guy for sexual reasons?

Honestly, I can almost tell exactly what this film will be like just from this casting choice.

Great costumes, which is what I remember it for. It’s not a great film but visually it had a good punch. Gary oldman is a brilliant actor. I’m not really into vampires, I know that’s a whole thing but it’s not for me
You can’t cast a ginger as vlad, it’s just wrong. Although I guess enough sunlight is lethal both to Wampyre and Glaswegians … :D could they not find someone with good cheekbones?

I don’t get the murder twink thing either. I do not find the Timmy Chalamey (sp?) types at all attractive, even though I’m fond of lanky nerdy idiots
I think the casting used to be done by straight men or men who understood what straight men think, and now it’s done by spiteful mutants.
What’s attractive isn’t always the muscles type. My own taste in men is more esoteric, but it certainly isn’t murder twink or these creepy fish faced mutants and I wouldn’t be inserting myself or my taste into a movie.
I think people’s personal weird tastes are getting put into casting choices when they should be not doing that. If you’ve got a thing for sickly looking twinks then fine, each to their own, god knows I like some very perhaps not classically handsome and odd men, lol.
but if I was casting die hard, I’d not be casting what I personally found attractive. I’d want an Everyman who looked good in a vest and could run around with a gun. Bruce was perfect for that. He looked just real enough to be believable as an Everyman, but he was masculine. If I was casting Dracula I’d be thinking tall, pale, dark hair, kind of ageless with good cheekbones.
Stoker’s description of him at first (he looks younger later) is this;
His face was strong — a very strong — aquiline, with high bridge of the thin nose and peculiarly arched nostrils; with lofty domed forehead, and hair growing scantily round the temples, but profusely elsewhere. His eyebrows were very massive, almost meeting over the nose, and with bushy hair that seemed to curl in its own profusion. The mouth, so far as I could see it under the heavy moustache, was fixed and rather cruel-looking, with peculiarly sharp white teeth; these protruded over the lips, whose remarkable ruddiness showed an astonishing vitality in a man of his years. For the rest, his ears were pale and at the tops extremely pointed; the chin was broad and strong, and the cheeks firm though thin. The general effect was one of extraordinary pallor.

They got the pallor I suppose
