It’s really not a slippery slope, or even a slope at all. Child porn has been illegal for quite a long time now. The concept that “if you ban illustrated child porn, you’ll leave the door wide open to arresting people for speaking out against politics” is frankly the most absurd reach I’ve ever seen. One is closing a loophole that should have never existed in the first place, the other is radically changing the way law and speech has always worked in the country.
