We should fire the TSA and replace them with ICE
Yup. ICE or CBP.
Also, this is why you should never travel with cash (especially in an airport) unless absolutely essential (and you need to have a
very good reason
why it's "essential"). If you simply
must have cash at the destination, it is arguably cheaper, safer, faster and more secure to get it from an ATM, bank or exchange at the destination rather than risking carrying it through the transit network. Remember most countries now consider "carrying cash in any amount" to be "suspicious" even if it's perfectly legal, and especially even when you "register" or "declare" it in advance.
Even if you're carrying below the amount you're legally required to "declare," if you're found carrying a couple thousand in cash, they will still consider you suspicious and will find any excuse they can to detain and question you, confiscate it and subject it to civil forfeiture. The biggest cash thieves at airports are government officials, not fellow passengers, loiterers or (non-government) career criminals. Never carry any unless you absolutely have to. And don't let it out of your sight if you do.
Cash, passport and printed (paper) boarding pass are three things that
always stay on my person when going through a security screening checkpoint (though I never carry cash anymore when traveling anyway). Driver's license can stay with the wallet. Proof of purchase of safe passage (i.e. lawful entry to and presence in "sterile" area)? Nope. Passport? Absolutely not.
"All belongings and personal items and bags on the belt." No sir. My passport stays on my person or, if being presented to an agent, stays in my eyesight at all times. There's a reason they verify identity in a separate step prior to physical screening (i.e. to protect you from having some shithead scanner operator decide to keep your passport). Separating me from my passport in the absence of lawful detention with adequate legal representation is a violation of my fundamental human rights and is considered a crime against humanity by pretty much every government on this planet (it amounts to imprisonment since without it, you cannot safely/lawfully travel between countries or prove your citizenship quickly).
Ironically all those people whining about ICE doing illegal things and CBP being meanies? Yeah, "stealing passports" and "robbing travelers" is the classic gestapo China-style shit they
should be screaming about when shitbag TSA and customs agents do it. And it happens every day with nary a peep by these liberal faggots.
ETA:
All the Falun Gong blame whenever someone shits on the chinks
It's not "blame" -- they're rightfully pissed at China and have their hands in all sorts of jars helping everyone shit on China as much as possible, and it's delightful. I love pointing it out because I think it's really fucking funny. Chinks deserve to be shit on and I adore the fact that there's an entire political organization dedicated to the practice.
