People like han/obee derive pleasure/meaning in life via moderation (active or backseat). So for them, it's a dopamine rush to publically and openly wield/discuss these powers. If they don't make a spectacle of it, they derive no pleasure or satisfaction. For these types of people, this is their only escape in life, often the only part of their life they feel they can control (unlike their family, relationships, weight/health, job, etc which are usually all disasters). These are human failures who have latched onto the moldiest crumbs of influence and power they can find: chat room modding. So they need to bring it up at all times, lest the high wear off.

It's just really common to see this archetype of mod/wannabe mod whose entire persona is just talking about banning people, being banned, etc etc. They're viscerally attached the the action of moderation.
