Not really. When I say post scarcity I mean whatever gay little world Star Trek is selling where you want for nothing.

If you are not on gibs and have actuals costs and bills to cover, you will still need to work to survive. It's still survival of the fittests, just that instead of Gork the mighty being the one best prepared to survive, it's now Snivellis Faggotis the office worker the one best prepared to survive. Hell,that being our success selector is probably a very big factor at how limp wristed and feminized everything is.

But at the end of the day, Gork and Snivellis get up to do something to keep food on the table. In true post scarcity that is a none factor, you have your magical EBT card of infinite money that you can purchase anything and have it delivered to your home, at that point, what keeps you getting up in the morning. What motivates you?

That's the part that I find fascinating yet terrifying. For every person that would just focus on having a big family or put all their efforts into some intellectual or artistic challenge, I believe you will have thousands that will just become blobs of consumption and degeneracy. When there is no drive, there is also no expectations and if there are no expectations, why not just go full edonism?

People underestimate how having no responsabilities at all fucks with your head.

The left and right's political violence is inherently different. The left's is systemic and systemically supported. Organized terror cells, ops, etc.

The right can't do that, because the left corrupts the institutions and makes them target the right (And ignore the left) and the right also is the victim of a near constant social engineering effort to make damned sure they always think that organization is for fags and commies. This is why they freaked the FUCK out about Project 2025 or whatever that Heritage Foundation thing was called, because if you actually looked at what they were saying it was basically "Organization is great, we should teach young righties civics and what the Government agencies SHOULD be doing and how the left has corrupted them, and then organize to take them back and stop the left at the gears of power." The right isn't supposed to think like that, period, end of discussion.

So the right's violence isn't systemic and isn't systemically supported. That means lone wolves, targets of opportunity, etc. (Until it very abruptly isn't, and that's when the fun begins.)

It also means that the best way to get the left to stop doing shit is for the right to start doing it, because the SECOND the right starts using lefty tactics, the media and the powers that be become very very desperate to de-legitimize those tactics. For example, drop boxes and mail in ballot harvesting were suddenly the worst crimes known to man when Christians started setting up drop boxes and organized harvesting campaigns at churches in California to get (IIRC) Larry Elder in. The right using Cancelation against James Gunn for his pedophilia was just not what serious righties do, screamed the moles. Dipping into identity politics as the right? REEEEE, RACISM, REEEEE~

Fox agreed to pay them a billion dollars in a settlement of that case.

You will never convince me that was a legitimate move in Fox's best interest, and not a in broad daylight payment for rigging things.

Jurors who deliberated on the case of a man who threw a sub sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer in Washington, D.C., said the courtroom was often filled with giggles as witnesses testified and lawyers bantered.

One juror told CBS News that many in the packed courtroom struggled to keep a "straight face" during the proceedings. The accused, Sean Dunn, was ultimately acquitted on his misdemeanor charge of simple assault.

"I mean," the juror said, "it was a thrown sandwich."

"I thought we'd be out of there quickly. This case had no 'grounding.' He threw a sandwich at the agent because he knew it wouldn't hurt," another juror said. "A reasonable person wouldn't think a sandwich is a weapon."

"It seemed to me like an open and closed type of thing," a third juror told the outlet. "It was kind of ridiculous."

"We asked each other: If we only look at this case, can someone really do harm to someone wearing a ballistic vest by throwing a sandwich?"

99% of the people with money in Ai will only see a return after their bad bet gets acquired by or merged into whoever finally starts deploying it commercially

So it’s Schrödinger’s bubble, because hell yeah it’s mostly a bubble and most of the money going into it is going to evaporate, but also acquisitions and mergers will spare most people from the consequences
 
What exactly has been done with AI tech that is impressive or indicative of a growth industry in any conceivable way whatsoever?

All I'm seeing is slightly more advanced versions of Siri or Alexa which is neat I guess but not enough to sustain a 5 trillion dollar investment bubble.
