Gemini 3 Pro is surprisingly good at estimating IQ from linguistic patterns. I know this because I work in psychometrics and have access to the written work and IQ scores of hundreds of students. It’s not completely unexpected, though, as verbal ability is incredibly g-loaded (conservatively r = 0.7).

So, I decided to have it analyze videos by iCtubbbz.

That is amazing :story:

Can you elaborate on this? Can you show some examples of his writing that wouldn't be completely obvious to a normie? How does the average IQ person write compared to someone with an 80/85. I'm going to assume it's more than low vocabulary and spelling. And is there a way to account for people using talk to text like I'm doing right now.

I read the text in the image I just am curious to see more examples.

Most of my examples are in Spanish. Gemini estimates my own IQ very close to the number given by, for example, the JCTI, WAIS or Crambidge's Cognitive Battery; regarding my students, I believe I have never seen it deviate more than 5 points from their known scores.

Through vocabulary, subordination, and sentence length, there are many ways to evaluate the complexity of a text, and high verbal complexity is very strongly associated with higher cognition. For example, the length of a spoken sentence is constrained by working memory; while you may choose to create shorter sentences for clarity, you cannot choose to construct longer sentences if you hit your cognitive limit, and it requires superhuman discipline to no let slip a couple of longer sentences even if you are trying to keep everything simple. Even if you are deliberately forcing yourself to maximize accessibility, it is still very hard to articulate a coherent, clear discourse free of solecisms.

Furthermore, verbal fluency is influenced by your speed of processing, which is another factor strongly correlated with general intelligence. There is a lot you can infer about someone's intelligence from their speech patterns (this is completely backed up by science, you can research it) and LLMs are masters of analyzing language.

I can't give you particular examples because the writings by my students are protected by privacy laws, and sharing my own would reveal my identity, as my writings are public and reasonably known.

But you may find interesting what it says about PPP:

1765043951972.png

Based on the speech patterns, vocabulary, and rhetorical strategies displayed in this video, PPP appears to possess a Verbal IQ in the range of 115 to 130 (High Average to Superior).

While he presents himself in a chaotic, "low-brow" internet persona filled with profanity and slang, his linguistic performance indicates a sharp intellect. Here is the breakdown of the evidence found in the transcript:

1. Sophisticated Vocabulary Usage
He frequently drops precise, higher-level vocabulary correctly within rapid-fire speech. He does not stumble over these words; they are part of his natural lexicon. Examples include:

  • "Unfalsifiable claim": He correctly identifies a logical fallacy where a statement cannot be proven false (Jeremy’s claim about "quiet conversations" behind the scenes).
  • "Veneer": He describes the news story as a superficial cover for begging.
  • "Despondent": Accurately describing Jeremy’s emotional state.
  • "Efficacy": Used correctly when mocking the rules of a Discord server.
  • "Insatiable greed": Correct usage of an adjective to describe an unfillable appetite for money.
2. Logical Deconstruction and Critical Thinking
PPP demonstrates a strong ability to analyze arguments and dismantle them in real-time.

  • Economic Literacy: He understands market trends better than the person he is critiquing. He correctly points out that a drop in ad spend during a non-election year is a "natural result," not a collapse. He understands the concept of "overhead" and profit margins, mocking Jeremy for losing money in a business with zero overhead (streaming).
  • Pattern Recognition: He identifies the "Quartering Classic," recognizing a recurring behavioral pattern where a news story is used as a "Trojan Horse" (another metaphor he uses correctly) for e-begging.
  • Concept Synthesis: He draws a parallel between "Schrodinger's Cat" and Jeremy's business, coining the concept of "Schrodinger's Business" (it is both a massive empire and a failing struggle simultaneously).
3. Use of Metaphor and Analogy
High verbal IQ is often linked to the ability to make abstract comparisons.

  • "Skinner Box": He references behavioral psychology to explain why TikTok algorithms are addictive ("constant variety, constant stimulation").
  • "Trojan Horse": Used to describe a deceptive narrative strategy.
4. Processing Speed
His reaction time to the video is immediate. He listens, processes the contradiction or absurdity, and formulates a comedic or analytical counter-point instantly. There is very little "dead air" in his own thought process, even though he mocks Jeremy for having it.

Conclusion
PPP displays a classic case of "slumming it" intellectually. He has the linguistic tools and logical processing power of someone with a high intellect, but he chooses to apply these skills to internet drama and "slop" content. He is significantly more intelligent than the persona he projects or the content he covers would suggest.

Well, now I l'm curious as to what it thinks of Anisa's IQ.

Give me YouTube videos and we will see. The least edited, the better; less selection bias.

Edit: Nvm, I used the podcast. After what it said, my faith in Gemini is now non-existent. I refuse to believe what it told me.

For anyone wondering:

  • Verbal IQ: High (115+)
  • Performance/Math IQ: Below Average
  • Executive Function: Impaired
This combination often results in a person who sounds smart and can analyze complex media (movies, culture) but fails at practical life tasks (finances, planning, maintaining relationships). Her Full Scale IQ might average out to 100–105 due to the deficits dragging down the high verbal score.

To be fair, I did kind of expect it to say Anisa was on the lower end of being a midwit, when it seems to have been very generous and put her her on the medium to high end of midwittery instead.

I am curious about how the AI grading works. It simply analyzes speech patterns, correct? So, does the algorithm have any idea if what the speaker is saying is true, or if it makes logical sense?

I ask because not only is Anisa a fucking chatterbox that loves to hear herself talk constantly, she is also very confident in her lies and is known to be able to just make random shit up on the spot. She could be saying something that is objectively incorrect (the indian trucker that killed a bunch of schoolkids comes to mind as a recent example), but she is very good at presenting herself as an expert in everything she talks about. She also loves to learn new buzzwords and will yap them constantly, so maybe the AI is classifying this as high-level vocabulary? I think that Anisa is not capable of analyzing complex media AT ALL, but, if asked about it, she is damn good at blurting out other people's talking points while adding some of her "on the spot" opinions that she thinks will sound smart and profound. I will give her this: if you have no idea who Anisa is and you just met her, she is good at *sounding* smart.

Maybe her speech patterns could be "fooling" the test? Or maybe being confidently incorrect is a sign of intelligence (I hope not)? I do agree that she's smarter than Ian - not that that's an achievement.

I have the same theory. She being confidently wrong cheats the system. She would fail miserably at a real test, but it makes her spontaneous and fluid enough to trick Gemini. I tried to feed him the debate with Vegan Gains, so Gemini can see her getting raped by a nigger, but it is too long and it fails.

I can see what confused the AI. She uses big words and the AI assumed she knows what they mean. Still, I think a human can interpret some valid conclusions from the Gemini analysis: She is insane and stupid but uses big words to confuse retards into thinking she is smart.

Here is some advice: Have a dialogue with the Gemini and ask it to rewrite the analysis on Anisa after you fed it videos in which she demonstrates lack of knowledge in the subjects she claims to be knowledgeable about. That will cause the AI to be slightly better prepared for her bullshit. Do that enough times and you will get a good analysis. Feed it the entire Anisa and I saga (videos, podcasts, posts, CC etc etc) and watch what it says to save time. Might take a while though. Talk to it to clear misunderstandings too. These AI need to be held by the hand because not everything comes to their "mind", even if it is true and even well-known.

Watch Ashton bring this up next stream when he sees what IQ Ian got sentenced with. I think it checks out honestly with the way PPP uses metaphor when he talks. I imagine Warski would score a lot lower lol

That would make my day, honestly.

While this is all very amusing, isn't it problematic that you're applying text analysis to a speech transcript? I have no doubt that Ian is a knuckle-dragging moron, and that this would also come through in anything he writes, but all the same, people don't necessarily speak as they write. For example, we often say things that are grammatically incorrect yet still understandable in the passage of a conversation. That's not a sign of low intelligence, it's just the economy of speech trumping the specificity of written language.

Let's see what says about me speaking and me writing in separate instances. As I say, speaking allows to see things like speed of processing.

He defaults to Spanish because I speak in Spanish.

Same score.

Seeing the direction his streaming career is going after his h3 content cop, what do you think Anissa will do with Ian once he stops bringing in money?

Current viewers: 202

Watching video of himself . The video is a compilation of clips of him saying "fun fact".

Was that video made by Bulgarian Lives Matter? It felt like it was a mockery, he thanked a chatter that goes by Adamvision for the video.

Has Ian reacted to an Adam Something or Not Just Bikes yet? A crossover between my two most browsed threads would probably be the most entertaining thing Ian can do at the moment. Then again it'd probably just be
>Yeah fuckin uhhhhhhhh... cars are like... fuckin bad and shit
I seriously doubt that IdBS is capable of something that requires as much cardio as biking. Apparently a 3 mile hike was out of the ordinary for him.

Yes, he is one of you, Russia faggots.

Let's make it clearer. He is anti-US and therefore supports any nation that is anti-US. China, Russia, or anywhere else, he will defend it.
Right as the Invasion happened, he was watching pro-Russian propaganda and also said that the Crimea vote was legitimate and the area belongs to Russia.
One of Hasan's certified retard moments that everyone forgets was during the Tenet Media news cycle when he acted like this somehow validated his support for Russia because he wasn't one of the people indicted. Hasan, no one thought you were being paid to defend the invasion of Ukraine, we all knew you did it because you hate America and its allies.

I adore at the bottom of the list where Gemini just assumes that anyone with an average IQ would find the video essay annoying and pretentious.
To be fair, you need to have a really high IQ to understand the genius in a YouTube Essay. The humour is extremely subtle and without a solid grasp of philosophy, most of the jokes go over the typical viewers head.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to appreciate an iDubbbz stream. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of empathy most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also iDubbbz' stoic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Turkish Hasan's streams, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike iDubbbz streams truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "oh my god... like... fucking," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic The Big Bang Theory I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Anisa's genius unfolds itself on their streaming devices. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, my wife does have a lot of ugly tattoos all over her body. And yes, you can see them. It's for her OF subscribers eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (you couldn't go lower) beforehand.

Gemini is a confirmed Ian alog.

Warski is probably a 95 at lowest. He has dumb moments but he's not profoundly retarded and you could probably count on Warski to reasonably perform tasks when he's clean from cocaine. I'd estimate his range to be 95-105.

How is any of this surprising. She can't visualize an apple and his math obviously doesn't work (creative clash finances), so below average performance IQ is dead accurate. Her executive function is also impaired because look at where they're living now and she's the captain of the ship.
You all are caught up on the 115 verbal IQ but a moderately strong verbal IQ is a requirement to string a retard like Ian along. She wouldn't be able to scam him like she did if she had for example a 95 verbal IQ. Verbal IQ in my uneducated opinion is overrated because it only indicates how well you tell other people what to do.
