That being said, their desperation to pretend that browns are actually fantastic, even as they state how awful Jeets are, makes me think that this person would rather get gang raped by a pack of muds before they admit the truth.
I m not so cynical.
Its like religious instruction. Take a nice stable family and have them go to church every Sunday. The kids go to sunday school and are taught how to be good and kind and so on. But the sermons have an inbuildt bais of treating the relationship with god as being transactional. If you are good, that will be rewarded.
Then take someone from that enivorment who has only ever known safety and support of their community and put them in a more hard edge situation. Lets make it easy they take in a mooch who talks a good game, but ultimately is playing by different rules.
Their world view gets assaulted, their expectation that they were taught or their own lived experience dont line up with what is happening. When this happens to people the part of their brain that lights up is the same part as real pain.
Its a fucking hard process, but people will wake up.
I ll give an example from my own life. There was a family member (cousin) who had a moocher for a son who would do nothing but bleed is mom for money.
Said mom basically got a windfall of like 55K (this was over 40 years ago) and her aunt and uncle basically bullied her to put 95% of that into a CD or something else where she couldnt touch it. It fucking saved her from her son.
I grew up with that story, and I was never taught the whole "exception that proves the rule" bullshit.
You dont mess with peoples relationship (white knighting) and you stay far away from peoples (money). The fastest way to get your self killed is to mess with someone money or kids.
It was good that wiser people in the family saved my cousin from her shit head of a son. But its best to not touch that stuff.
Anyway back to the jeets if this story is true the person is processing that these jeets really are a danger and needs to make peace with it.
