It's very mildly psychoactive. It's actually pretty good for minor aches and pains like muscle pains or mild arthritis, without the liver toxicity of NSAIDs and without the dopey effect of actual weed, which I haven't touched in years. Not that I wouldn't, but after more or less quitting daily use long ago, I noticed after a couple weeks that my brain seemed to be working better, and the handful of times I did it again, I felt retarded for a couple days afterwards.

I just don't feel I can spend half a week half-retarded on a whim much any more.
