I was thinking about Leafy in comparison to iDubbbz a few days ago – despite being a worse person in character than Ian, he's (assumedly) living his best life offline and coasting off his success a decade ago. Leafy made his fortune off of making fun of dumb kids online, whereas Ian only went after content creators (including Leafy) and aspiring, but possibly shady, entrepreneurs. However, by the time Leafy was banned, he was riding off into the sunset, and he didn't go off and bitch and moan about it on Twitter.
Leafy did return to the internet on Rumble streams a few years ago, where he talked a bit about what he'd been doing, including revealing that (a) he was good chums with Nick Fuentes (Nick even called into the stream!), and (b) he had become a day trader and was making crazy money in the stock market. Alas, this stint only lasted a few weeks, he likely got bored of it and decided to go back into hiding, but I imagine he's been able to grow that seedling of wealth from 2016 YT into something that can carry him on for decades, if not his whole life.
Compare that with Ian, who, when he decided to stop being edgy, instead tried to pivot, threw all his money into crazy events that were clearly not managed well (at his dismal wife's request), and coped and seethed when his target new fan base rejected him for his past misdeeds. And now he sits stranded in Alberta on his mother-in-law's couch, spineless and sockless, wondering where it all went wrong... if he still has the mental capacity for that.
And why did he do this?
For a lick of pussy.

Maybe not a Content Cop on a specific person from the Cancer Crew, but I could see, maybe, a Content Cop: Cancer Crew and Ian denouncing (again) all of his previous sketches and videos with them. And also "calling them out" for their "problematic" and "weird" behavior (stuff that Ian either said or did himself, willingly) back then, he already tested the waters with the whole Max and "straight man peer pressure" thing, which I still can't believe that these words came from a supposedly straight/married man.

I've come to realize that Jewthor is funny but his crew just fucking sucks. The image of Idubbbz in a parka scrambling up a hill in a blizzard to return socks because he's poor and his pear headed whore of a wife forced him to move to Edmonton is awesome. His crew just sucks the life out of it.

Generationally felted, raped, and buck-broken. This is the most humiliating surrender I think I've seen in some time, and the best part is that it's only happening because the mentally ill sycophants still gnawing on the decaying carcass of Ian's career are so unbelievably fragile that they can't handle anything else. You really do get what you fucking deserve.
The idea that only women or middle-aged women like drama is nonsense. Look at how diverse the userbase of Kiwi Farms is. Everybody loves drama, and that includes the sort of women who watch H3H3. You would have to be quite thin-skinned to look at the Casino and interpret it as some sort of far-right podcast when they spend just as much time mocking people like The Quartering as they do mocking iDubbbz.
They may not be particularly open about the fact that they watch the show to people who aren't likely to 'get the joke,' but they're likely familiar enough with the Internet and its culture to understand that it's just chatting shit. Much of the more outlandish banter on the show doesn't really make it to the clip channel, either, and I imagine quite a few of the newer viewers from that situation only watch the clip channel because they haven't got the time to sit through eight hours of Free Bird.
Ethan played the whole situation off quite well - he gave them more than enough publicity to point people in their direction, especially as regards their coverage of The Raped, complimented the show and their humour, and commented on their edginess without condemning or condoning it. That's all he needed to do. No need to personally dirty his hands; the feltening will flow downstream to Anisa and I one way or the other. Trickle-down feltenomics.
