Firstly, it was 600k + 2 million self-deportations as of September

Secondly they’re only starting to onboard the new hires from now through January
4 months after my application and I haven't heard anything back D: My buddy is heading into the academy soon though so at least one of us got through *sigh*

Looks like ICE is putting their budget to good use- these bad boys will hold up a hell of a lot better than off-the-market SUVs.

Wish they didn’t use niggerbeats for the music, though.

Jesus, look at these RAM prices...................

When in the world will AI bubble burst?! Its going to be bad
It will not burst. Micron just pulled out of the consumer market and retired its Crucial brand of RAM and SSD's. They are pivoting to AI completely. They are one of only 3 ram companies in existance. You are witnessing the birth of the Tech Industrial complex. The government will not allow it to die. They are being turned from trinkets into weapons.

Dude I’m so thankful I built my new PC a couple months ago. Woulda been out another half grand otherwise.
The best time to build was right before the tarrifs started, and frankly, a year earlier before the 50 series of Nvidia cards launched.

As optimistic as I want to be about CAFE's rollback, I don't expect it to reduce the cost of vehicles and I do expect it to increase the amount of fuel people have to buy. Corporations don't give up profits if they don't have to. If people are paying today's prices, it's not like they're going to roll them back to give up that sweet sweet bottom line.

Tommy tard wrangled a large crowd at a Portland university. It's funny. He just talked shit with a MAGA hat and a horde of fags appeared to confront only him. It was like 8 people an hour ago.
Who's school? Tommy's school.

Yeah, i see the government bailing them out, AI makes up to much of the US economy at this point.

I was saving up goddamn it. Oh well, i'll have to wait shit out again

Statins can cause muscle damage in some people. Everyone is different, though. I take statins and have zero side effects. Basically, if you take statins, stop immediately and call your doctor if you experience muscle pain. The muscle damage can cause rhabdo.

muscle pain, possible cognitive decline, allegedly increased risk of diabetes, potential for liver damage
the science around this isn't super clear
don't take medical advice from kiwi farms though, you really don't want to end up being the guy that has to explain to his doctor "yeah i stopped taking my meds because a random retard on the internet said so"

try herbalism first, there are very legit plant treatments for your gross blood problems. I don't know what they are because I don't have that particular gross blood problem. make sure you're careful about interactions with medications.

COQ10 is the real answer.

Statin medications work in the liver to interrupt the manufacture of LDL cholesterol. They also interfere with the production of COQ10, the compound that moves glucose into the mitochondria of your cells. All your cells.

Organs with high energy demands get pissed off when you starve them of glucose.

The brain runs crappier. The muscles run crappier. Oh btw, what do you think the heart is made out of? Muscle. It doesn’t like this shit very much either, ironically enough.

If your VLDL or LDL cholesterol is high enough that it’s risky to leave things as they are, take the statins. You can buy supplemental COQ10 to compensate, fairly cheaply. 100-200mg generally does the trick.

I merely got a RAM upgrade before all the tariff and Nvidia nonsense by pure chance. Hell the PC I'm using to type this was supposed to be nothing more than a stopgap to run what I wanted "acceptably" before investing into something a lot more useful that could do what this does but 100 times better. Unfortunately the situation had pigeonholed this "stopgap" machine into being a serious long-term machine to stick with since I don't think the prices are coming back down anytime soon.

I just wish the damned bubble would pop already, but I'm confident that this overly optimistic and we're a long ways off from that, if at all.

Its funny. I remember watching shows about talking computers as a kid. Star Trek called this shit in 1966. Now its happening and nobody is really stopping it because the objective benefits outweigh the costs.

Off-topic but does anybody know what the bare minimum specs are to run a local LLM? I’m not interested in GoyGPT after they announced ads.
Depends on how large of a model you want to use. Some of the small ones will run on a phone even. Take a look at LM Studio, KobaldCPP, and SillyTavern (warning, SillyTavern is weeb/furry/fag land). Or llama.cpp for CLI.
