Barron Trump was watching television Tuesday at home with Melania when Kathy Griffin's photo appeared on the screen, and his initial reaction was that something terrible happened to his father.

Trump family sources tell us Barron was in front of the TV watching a show when the news came on and he saw the bloody, beheaded image. We're told he panicked and screamed, "Mommy, Mommy!"

As it was put to us, "He's 11. He doesn't know who Kathy Griffin is and the head she was holding resembled his dad."

Melania called out Kathy, saying what she did was disturbing, wrong and "makes you wonder about [her] mental health."

President Trump also blasted Griffin for posing with the head, saying, Barron was having a hard time dealing with it.

Griffin has apologized.

Do you think Griffin apologizing was the right move?

Before she used to double down when incidents like this would happen (The Spielberg and Emmy incidents come to mind with her) but there were rumors that she apologized because she was receiving death threats from the offended parties.

Can't say since I honestly don't care over this. I just see it as the political form of sperging. Regardless, her apology can vary to some in being genuine to one guy and possibly half-assed to another. All of this said, her actions would no doubt bring about salt from either side.

Not really. Presidents have been mocked and shit since the beginning of our fine republic. We just hear about it more now because of mass media. Remember Grover Cleveland supposedly having an illegitimate child? Taft getting stuck in the bathtub? Andrew Jackson's wife was called a whore because apparently there were some technicalities when she got divorced from her first husband, and the paper work was messed up. The stress got to be too much and she died of a heart attack before her husband was inaugurated.
