That was a little different. The Pheasant Lane Mall was on the NH-MA border. Healey is straight up taxing NH residents who don't set foot in MA. What's probably happening is the state's budget is completely fucked, which is why Healey and Andrea Campbell are illegally preventing Diana DiZoglio (who was endorsed to be state auditor by Healey) from doing her job and auditing the state (a position created by overwhelming popular vote).
It is a little different but still along the same mindset. They had a workable plan, put the mall right along the border, restaurants are built on the MA side because of the lower sales tax on restaurants, no sales tax on the mall stores in NH. But Massachusetts demanded that because part of the mall would sit on Massachusetts' side, every mall store had to have sales tax which would go to MA. NH told them to fuck off and redesigned the mall to be all on NH (thus the restaurants would have the higher NH sales tax), and then had to further modified the plans by cutting off a corner of JCPenney since it was a few inches on MA soil. As a result only the southern parking lot is in Massachusetts.

I’m sorry dude. Utah just isn’t that cold.

Your own map shows that the only places colder are rural midwestern and northeastern states, Alaska, and Minneapolis. Everyone in Utah lives in the purplest section.

That map is also average temperature when what matters is minimum temperature.

Well, if you’re not in the main valley, which granted, does seem to be purple, then the other five people are in St George, which is green

All the same, the cold kings with three of the top ten places all call that red ocean bug “labstah”

Looks like the administration is facing lawsuits from multiple corporations demanding refunds over tariffs.

Costco sues the Trump administration, seeking a refund of tariffs

Global cosmetics giant Revlon, eyeglass maker EssilorLuxottica, motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki, canned foods seller Bumble Bee, Japanese auto supplier Yokohama Tire and many smaller firms have also filed similar suits.
I'm not sure how they'd win. Suing over a court case that hasn't been decided yet is one thing but I don't think they'd retroactively demand paying them back. Trying to retroactively make those actions illegal just to screw over Orange Man could have some legal ramifications years down the line.

I camped out in at least -20 once for Boy Scouts. Might have been colder, I just know sleeping was awful

Tell that to our homeless population. Oh wait- they barely exist because they fucking die in the cold
I see that every winter here. Snow's not as intense because there's no mountains, but it's consistently colder than Utah.
Imagine a Somalian who's both uncomfortably cold (not evolved for it; can't spend all day milling around in it) and also wrapped in the eerie winter silence that seems to deafen all noise and leave you alone with your own thoughts.

National blizzards now.
To be fair there's always something magical about taking a walk outside at night when snow's falling all around you and the snowfall's muffling the sounds outside.

What's the thread opinion on the truth about Maduro and his involvement with a drug cartel? I really know nothing about it and it seems increasingly relevant as we seem to be ratcheting our way to a war with them.

What number is this for attempts to try and own the Orange man yet fucking themselves over?

I tell them they should vote for our guy Philip Funderburg in the Republican primary to pwn Ramaswamy and the immigrant friendly republicucksTM.
