So this guy popped on my feed, he dresses like it's 1897 and remakes food from the german imperial era (1871-1917). Really good and interesting stuff,

Fallow: some fellas from a michellin star restaurant. Good tips and zero bullshit
Checked out a couple videos from these two channels and liked them both. Thanks, I've wanted a good BBQ channel beyond the BBQ With Franklin clips from his PBS thing.Mad Scientist BBQ for my smoking needs
+1 for this dude. Diving into his channel after the onion video inspired me to start cooking.Chef Jean Pierre: great for begginers and professionals alike. My comfort youtuber
I only discovered him recently. It’s all stuff you could do at home. Some great English classics in there too.John Kirkwood is a great channel.
He's a retired English chef and his videos are incredibly comfy.
Just saw that and was about to post. GOOD. Hopefully he's figured out how to regularly make videos without turning it into a full television type of production and can keep it up.Looks like Alton Brown is finally doing a new YouTube show! Sounds like the plan is release new episodes weekly:

Anyone who is ashamed of being a Slav can’t be that bad.I watched a lot of LifeofBoris (is that his name?) in winter 2019, but I stopped watching him regularly shortly after, before the Ukraine War started and he made a short apology video about it (something beyond his control), in which he apologized for his goddamn ethnicity.
But yeah that did it for me - just ignore it dude. His channel was all over the place anyway. His early videos had stuff about games and Slavic culture, and more comedy, then he switched to cooking on a budget - which is informative, but not exactly rocket science. So I don't think he counts as a proper cooking channel. Cool theme tho, it's stuck in my head now.
In the past few months he's posted some basic ~3 minute cooking videos on his Instagram which were pretty good. Must have been prep for the show.Looks like Alton Brown is finally doing a new YouTube show! Sounds like the plan is release new episodes weekly:

Seeing this made me laugh, since the whole "thaw the bird in the brine" thing was my takeaway from his original Romancing the Bird recipe when I had to actually do it. A frozen turkey is just a giant ice cube, so why not just chuck the bird, the brine and the ice in a cheap cooler (I use an Igloo Playmate) and mostly use the bird to keep the brine under 40F? Just check on it once a day and if there's no ice cubes still floating, add some and close it back up.Looks like Alton Brown is finally doing a new YouTube show! His episode of Hot Ones is easily the best they ever made. Not really a fan of that show but the way he dissects the sauces was masterful.Alton Brown
It really is great to see The King return to his throne.Good Eats is still the GOAT.
