Religion is still one of the main sources of traditional values in society. Transgenderism is an extremely new ideology that takes a lot from post-modernism. As a result there's always conflict and all kinds of shenanigans going on:

  • A great effort from "progressives" to infiltrate religions like Christianity and Islam to make them troon-inclusive.
  • Traditional churches splitting up because of LGBT stuff (Methodist and Anglican for example).
  • Progressive Christian churches doing cringeworthy stuff to celebrate troons.
  • All the conflict between religious freedom and transgenderism when it comes to the law (religious hospitals denying "gender affirming care" for example).
  • The unholy alliance between troons and muslims in the west (including the "queers for Palestine" thing).
  • Troons being extremely vitriolic talking about religion (and occasionally shooting Christian children).
And much more. I just think it'd be interesting to have a thread to talk about this, all the news related to it, or even to post cringe stuff. Also there are religious users here, would like to hear about their experiences, are your religious communities being affected by it?

The right approach to this is not as simple as we'd all like it to be.

That being a ruthless crusade against troons in which they're collectively put to the sword.

It's not that simple because the hard fact of the matter is that they have been corrupted by demons, but they themselves remain beloved children of God, as we all are, not demons.

So the correct path, as Christ taught us, is to pray for them, while remaining firm in condemnation of their sins.

I’m still MATI that the 80th General Convention of the Episcopal Church voted that youth transition should be accessible at any age. (Like... does the Convention think FIVE year olds should be allowed to use blockers? That 15 year olds can get top and bottom surgery and that's fine? That this is part of the baptismal call? WTF?)
I'm MATI about their pooner Gender Justice Officer - apparently a paid position to come up with these harebrained ideas.

I'm MATI about this cringe Pride Logo Episcopal Shield:

I'm MATI about the tranny LARPers who think that because they got an MDiv and can afford the vestments, this makes them clergy. (What's a shepherd without a flock? Just some fucking guy.) I'm MATI that the Church is doing all of this to appeal to troon parishioners who barely exist as a demographic. (Troons are not stuffing the pews every Sunday here in Massachusetts I assure you. There is not a massive contingent of troons who would attend church if it was more inclusive. Troonery is basically secular and worldly IMO and if you believe what Paul says that gender won't exist at all in the Kingdom of Heaven, then troonery can only be an exercise in personal vanity.)

I'm MATI that Bishop Whitworth made all of the confirmands pin an index card to their shirt with their names and preferred pronouns for Confirmation, when none of them have ambiguous names or presentations.

I'm MATI that feminism in the Episcopal Church apparently now means fighting to let the male perverts into the girl's bathroom instead of keeping them out of it.

I have a lot to be mad about and it's difficult to even determine where to begin.

😂

I just wouldn't be for it because many young and/or autistic people end up being brainwashed by transgenderism, I think they deserve a chance. But all the groomers and agps sure deserve it.

Trannies need to choose Deen over Dunya.
Why do some Islamic countries like Iran accept some forms of transgenderism?

That's wild. How do the other parishioners react? Have you heard any of them expressing concern?

I thought that Episcopalians just kinda accepted troons in general, but specifically supporting stuff like "gender affirming care" for toddlers sounds like a tremendous overreach and a disrespect to the freedom of conscience of the faithful. Next time they will say you must raise your children by letting them pick their pronouns, or else you'll be sinning.

Absolutely. It's amusing because I heard both arguments "conservative churches lose numbers because of their bigotry", and "who cares if we lose numbers? We must be progressive like Jesus was".

Transgenderism is all about the physical appearance and about lust. The complete opposite of traditional Christian values such as modesty and humility.

In my opinion, most of this stuff is happening at the Diocesan level and above and normal rank and file parishes are semi-unaware of it because it doesn't really affect their day to day operations unless they seek it out (like I do); or an IT'S MA'AM shows up at the church and starts pointing to these resolutions from General Convention or Diocesan Convention to demand that X, Y, Z accommodations need to be made for them or to try and hog certain ministries they have no business being in, e.g. teaching Sunday School. It's not exactly happening behind our backs but it's definitely a top-down thing where the sages in their ivory tower issue edicts that most people aren't really plugged into.

Frankly more moderate churches have attendance problems that fundamentalist ones do not because people on some level like the demands fundamentalist churches make of them and feel less OK about defecting (even if they are having problems with certain aspects of the faith) because their faith is more important to them.

You're right that troonery is all about physical appearance and lust. It's also about forcing normal people to accept your LARP, which is why to a certain kind of troon, church troonery is like catnip. The church is a place of acceptance and love, so the troon thinks "bingo, if they reject my troonery in any way they're being heccin un christ like." But the problem isn't really with troons who want to worship. It's that troons in church aren't really there to pray or worship at all; they are constantly trying to draw attention to themselves and their gender vanity. So they swan around and hog the docket at General Convention and the leadership is either unable or unwilling to set limits and make them stay on topic. At times it feels like the higher level leadership wants to turn the Church into the Democratic Party or a political club. I find that to be a rather sad state of affairs because it undermines the message of God's love, mercy, and acceptance that these people claim to champion.

Like, this is a thing I had to include recently in a service leaflet. You wouldn't know it from reading this, but Tell out My Soul is supposed to be a STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN. It's meant to promote donations to the church. This person's essay is all about how they like being a themby and choral singing, and very little of it is really about faith at all.

Yeah, I agree, I know people who are Episcopalian, very involved ones, and most of the regular people are unaware of this or think it’s just the same as the gay marriage issue, which is deeply controversial in the non-American and non-British branches. And most Episcopalians tend to be painfully polite. But I can tell you that the sensitivity and safety training for staff at American episcopal churches includes some lectures
by a “two-spirit” guy, whose name is Isaiah “Shaneequa” Brokenleg.

in Warsaw University can you pursue a degree in "Artes Liberales" (liberal arts), in this degree you can freely pick any subject you want
one of those subjects on a post-graduate level is "feminist and queer jewish theologies" and its exactly how it sounds like, judaist theology from a "feminist" and "queer" point of view
it speaks volumes when every book on the subject is only in english
and that includes trannies

during the course you will read such pinnacle of literature as The Soul of the Stranger: Reading God and Torah From a Transgender Perspective
but thats only the required read, theres also a list of optional literature
overall i genuinely couldnt believe my eyes when i first saw it

That makes sense, it's how they operate. Among the "civil rights" movements, the troon one is by far the most subversive one. Most of the population would never side with their bullshit, that's why they pass legislation hidden, when you see your country already has some insane self-id law. It makes sense they do the same with churches in a smaller scale.

I remember seeing the conversion testimony from that lolcow Erin in the Morning, it's very much how you describe it. Apparently he made a big deal out of it on facebook, then when he went to church everyone congratulate him for his new gender, and by the end of it he got 1,000$ for his crossdressing (the money who was supposed to go to hungry people). Extremely self-centered.

Not a single word about Jesus, instead you get "I seem to get called to leadership roles even when I'm not looking for them". Amazing.

I'm going to post some more lulzy images of troon clergy from Episcopalians, Anglicans and similar sects. Some of these I posted to the Troon L's thread. I'll comment on the new ones:

Rev. 'Gwen' Fry
“There were many who were very supportive, but there were those who didn’t have a clue as to what I was talking about,” Fry said. “I fielded numerous questions from parents concerned about the safety of their children around me. An employee of the parish tendered their resignation immediately. … They were a small business owner in town [who said] they could not be associated with something like this.”

When the bishop dissolved the pastoral relationship between Fry and her congregation, “that pretty much ended my formal career as a parish priest,” she said. “Since that time all I’ve been able to pick up are supply clergy gigs. I have applied for parish [work] since then, and I have not received a call. This is the antithesis of my experience before I socially transitioned.

:( I feel bad for the parishioners who get this guy dumped on them as supply clergy... just imagine one day your normal priest is on vacation or something and THAT THING shows up to preach and prepare Eucharist? I would walk out.

Technically there was ONE word about Jesus (that wasn't a reference to a hymn, Pie Jesu) but it isn't much better:
"It left me thinking of trans people and immigrants and others whose identity is currently under attack and I find myself praying for their rest in Jesus"
which, first of all: is the identity of immigrants really under attack? I didn't think so. ICE isn't trying to culturally assimilate Mexicans like one of those Catholic Indian Schools out West that would forcefully cut Indian kids' hair and beat them if they didn't speak English and pray in a Christian manner; their purpose is to physically remove them from the US and repatriate them to the country they came from. This is an attack, sure. But not on one's identity.

Next of all, what does "I find myself praying for their rest in Jesus" mean? Cause usually when we say someone is "at rest in/with Jesus" it means they are dead and we are hoping their soul is resting secure in the faith of Resurrection. Idk just kind of sounds like this emby is referring to trannies doing a flip. This is not the kind of person I want involved in Youth Ministry; at best she's incredibly self-centered.

P.S. The Crossing, a LGBT subgroup of the hopelessly pozzed Cathedral of St. Paul in Boston, "usually" meets on Thursdays at 7pm EST in person and on Zoom.
Is there any way we can record their services and crosspost them here?

I'll confess that despite my hatred of troons generally and my absolute horror and appalment at their cabaret shitshow of a 2024 Easter Vigil I have not actually made the time in my life to lurk on their weekly Zoom sessions. Do I have to watch and clip these like Nick Rekeita streams in order to capture the lulz and cringe for posterity, or is there an automated solution?

Gay men love the church. Specifically the Catholic church with all the outfits and decorations and access to altar boys. Lesbians love having a captive audience they can guilt and shame into listening to them. They care nothing for the religion, they care nothing for the beliefs.

They just want to play dress up and bloviate. That's why they are sneaking in. Subverting the institution is just a bonus.

Do you truly think you can't possibly believe in god if you fuck same sex?

The Church I go to takes the stance of saying everyone is welcome, but we specifically don't affirm their actions or lifestyle nor force anyone else to. As doing so almost always entails becoming a one issue Church and absorbing all the politics that come with something like becoming an "affirming Church" along with fracturing your congregation whom may disagree or feel outright uncomfortable with the prospect. I do think this stance has helped as we are one of the few Churches around me seeing consistent growth.
God bless Kiwis

I don't think anything can't stop you from believing in god if you truly want to do it. Fair share of trannies are christians.

The trannyness itself should not be turned into a cult though.
Yeah see this is what I mean. A tranny who comes to church in good faith and isn’t constantly trying to suck all the oxygen out of the room or make worship about HIM isn’t a problem. Just in my experience there’s two kinds of worshipping trannies: the ones that come for Christmas and Easter and otherwise don’t care, and the super sticky ones who make their gender identity everyone else’s problem and promulgate gender ideology in the church.
