Since everyone is bothered by me wearing a robe ( second pic ) & Facebook suspended my page recommendation ( the majority of my income comes from FB engagement ), I made sure to pull my dress over my knees and show as least skin as possible

All jokes aside, this is my drop Ari off at school look — no makeup, messy hair, cozy dress, cozy socks, and yes. No shoes. Shoes aren’t cozy & I can’t walk so … oh well. Today was gorgeous weather! 65 degrees! Felt amazing to have the sun shine on my face

This poor woman. They don't even look the least bit alike. I listened to her video, and they also don't sound anything alike. This woman is about a billion times more articulate and well-spoken. I scanned her Instagram content very briefly, and it's-- again-- nothing like Alex's. Here's a local archive of her post:

Now that we have established that this Allie, whoever she is, is not a child predator-- unlike Alex Dacy, aka Alex Dzimtowicz, aka Wheelchair Rapunzel-- who committed her crime in Florida but now lives in Illinois-- we'll move on to our trainwreck.

Since the paternity case came up in the Q&A, I checked on the status of that. There are no visible changes to that case file since the last update, but I'm putting everything under a spoiler to archive it.

You don't even need to see Allie's face to tell them apart. Allie isn't folded in on herself and she's dressed far more respectably than Alex. Her voice is also far more pleasant to listen to.

They're both blonde and blue-eyed and have the same kind of disability. I get that they're different people and it would be unfortunate to look like someone who recently tried to get a 13 year old boy to feel her up, but they look alike. It does not mean they're the same.

They look nothing like each other, Allie is older, has brown hair at the moment but seems to dye it frequently, a completely different face and color tone of her skin and she dresses completely different.
The single thing they have in common is having SMA and the look that goes with having SMA because there is a certain look that males and females with it share due to how their muscle break down. Nothing else would lead anyone to mistake them for each other, that's saying like Allie does in the video that people only see the wheelchair and think every known wheelchair user is one and the same, way to go to not being able to distinguish between different hair colours, facial features, change in skin tone, how someone styles their clothes etc etc etc.

Seriously, if anyone would mistake these two it's either because of severe facial blindness or you need to schedule a visit with your eye doctor.

I agree they don't look alike to me, but I feel for the whole face-blindness thing cause I get it with random people (mostly men for whatever reason).

Here's a helpful guide:

Probably part of the confusion is the username. This person also identifies herself primarily with her wheelchair. Many people are too simple to ask themself if it's the same username. They just see a name beginning with A and a reference to a wheelchair and their neurons fire. A pitfall of disabled internet personalities putting their disability as their main attribute - you end up getting them mixed up with other people who have exactly the same shtick...

There are a number of influencer(ish) people on social media who have SMA. I wonder if any of the others are getting similar comments. I can't think of any (that I'm aware of) who actually resemble Alex in any way, physically or otherwise.

I’m rolling up on 60 days sober (you’re welcome for the wheelchair pun).

I’m finding myself again. I feel more myself than I have in a very long time — I’m constantly feeling inspiration wash over me.

Like a warm familiar hug from a person I used to know in another life.

I was just reflecting on how alive I feel. How I feel like I’m living instead of drinking my way to get through until the next day.

I hated myself. I hated my situation. I hated my choices. I hated my life.

The thing is, I still have the same problems, I still have made bad choices — but I changed my situation. I changed my actions. How? I stopped drowning myself with alcohol. I stopped searching for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

My mind on alcohol: I hate my life, I’m so ugly inside & out, I feel alone, I’m a terrible mom, my situation will never get better, I need to find excitement, f*ck it.

My sober mind: omg I need to start a podcast, Ari loves me so much & I’m a damn good mom, I’ll start writing my book soon, this song makes me feel so deeply, I’m proud I finished that task on my to do list, I need to plan a lunch with my friend, this video angel is so sick for content, I want to do this craft with Ari, I can’t wait to take Ari to do that activity, I feel so warm, cozy, peaceful, & proud.

Maybe caught with drug paraphernalia like a coke spoon? Maybe it could be sexy. It is not sexy on a profoundly disabled woman, and certainly not for the crime of tricking a middle school kid into giving her a bath. The bad girl thing can be hot. No one is perfect. This is just weird.

It's really important in parenting physically disabled children to discipline them. Alex isn't technically mentally retarded, but like many physically disabled kids, wasn't told the hard truth that if she doesn't pull it together before her parents pass away she'll be subsisting off government benefits in a rotting house she has no idea or ability to maintain. Alex seems to believe the most anyone has to offer is their sexuality. It's unattractive and off-putting in a hot, able-bodied person. In someone like her, it's grotesque.

Edit: Of course she is sad playing Clue, because Clue is a sad board game. Play a good one like Kingdom Death.

Everyone keeps mentioning an ankle monitor- do we know for certain she has one? I have 0 knowledge or experience with this kind of thing so I'm clueless, do we just suspect because she's always wearing socks? Are they small enough to hide under socks? Are there any photos that hint towards it?

They're not very big. Here are some photos of SCRAM devices:



She's started wearing the big, bulky socks (or even pants) much of the time as of late. It is cold in Illinois, and Alex will obviously get colder more easily than some people, but she's been wearing them even when it wasn't particularly cool. We know that her parole conditions forbid her from drinking or using substances, and she's been attending AA.

There's one particular photo where it does (especially) look like something is on her ankle. This is from 9 October:



Between the foot drop and the thickness of the socks, it's generally a little hard to tell what's going on. However, she's in a skimpy dress-- but is also wearing massively thick socks.
