Assuming that you mean USA only, optimistically I think a lot calmer as the angry left would have either burnt itself out (quite literally) or would have been taken over by moderates who would have kicked the angry and enraged ones to the kerb (literally) as they would have finally learnt that being stupid, threatening and killing people etc. does not win votes or seats.

The Republicans will still have 40+ states voting red and there may be a new movement similar to the Corbyn Party in the UK whereby disaffected lefties start their own movement or tie-in with Jill Stein and the Green Party in order to gain some momentum.

The USA could start to see more parties other than Republicans and Democrats put candidates forward - anything from Libertarians to the Jake Paul Bus Pass Alliance.

At the same time, the UK will ironically be going back towards a two party state with Reform UK and an amalgamation of Liberal Democrats and Greens - 'Ecological Democrats' or 'Liberal Environmentalists' maybe, with some smattering of support for the Welsh and Scottish Independents even if votes on leaving the Union have been held and the UK has decided to remain 'as is.'

In the UK, Reform UK would still be way ahead in the polls and going towards 2040 would still be able to win General Elections with comparative ease.

I can't wait until this happens. Civic-nationalism feels like a pathetic attempt to keep the conservative dream of a color-blind meritocratic society alive. The only people I see shill it are boomers too blind to actually see what happens when a society becomes multicultural.
