The HOI4 modding community is full of brown terminally online niggers from turd world shitholes. Everything about TNO and TFR reeks third world nigger behavior. They fantasize about the idea of watching developed countries go into flames because they're jealous, brown or black, usually live in slums in Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Brazil, Cambodia, etc. They are mostly bitter because they're poor, jobless faggot and eat pagpag. Some of them are also troons and porn addicts with most of their social life being in Discord and no IRL friends to socialize outside their mom's basement.
The Japanese people I met aren't into this kind of extremism, all they do is read books, work, and look down on niggers or ignore niggers. Someone in the /vst/ tno thread asked about Iran. Don't have much idea for Iran content at the moment aside for being a flunky for either Germany/Japan/USA.
Honestly Iran in TNO could be very interesting but right now their lore is just Operation Ajax but German. In anycase, I am thinking of merging some of the civil war factions. Liberals and Communists in pro-OFN faction, Islamists in pro-Sphere faction, and monarchists in pro-Pakt faction.

It's been like that since the beginning. Some of the code comments left by the developers are straight out of the worst of 2017. It's that sort of snide ironic humor that is universally reviled.

It's a simple formula: build-up (including smaller conflicts) and then a big fucking war. Not some pseudo-VN that lasts so long that the Clausewitz engine starts choking on it.
When it comes to vanilla (but also mods with a normal timespan) you really should finish your campaigns at like 1943/1944. The later it goes the bigger slog it is, two trillion divisions on each side and lag. HOI4 is not designed for long campaigns, neither technically nor by gameplay.
Not only is TNO developed by tards, it's just too stretched.

Yea they're one of the countries that would benefit a lot from Germany winning WW2 since otl they were occupied by soviets and allies. If I were in charge I would have Iran start with Mossadegh who tries to become a dictator and fails everywhere which leads to a civil war or something. Or have Reza Shah stay in charge since he wasn't forced to abdicate. There are many things you can do, but out of all possible scenarios TNO just went with wikiscrape and replaced the british with germans which is infuriating considering how much they larp as historians

The UI kinda reminds me of HOI3. Which is nice, makes me nostalgic. Hope it works out, and that it won't end up like a typical PDX release: having to wait like 2 years for there to be any content.

I'd like if this submod did delve into the untenability of Apartheid South Africa. The African population was increasing more and more and they were getting increasingly more militant and nationalistic while the White population was declining through falling birth rates and emigration. In TNO they would face even more pressure from the OFN to end apartheid. Even in this focus, what White person from the US, Canada, Australia etc would want to get to South African after it just suffered a devastating civil war.
