As long as you give Phil money, you can be a dick to him, but the second that money dries up, you are just an asshole.
672 also got lectured after giving Phil money because he's not regularly giving Phil enough money. Step. It. Up.

Phil's chat is reaching Yankees levels of retired numbers: 220, 999, 1488, 1651, 11009.

By the way there's no way he can stream the BIOS update so no handholding possible and most importantly he'll likely never update it.

I guess we have an upcoming electrical fire arc when that chip gets seriously damaged

No Superchats for you, Phil. He restarted his stream already.

I swear this was against rules but I'd have to look it up. I wonder what got his stream flagged as mature?
He thinks today's Wi-Fi is no different to early 2000's Wi-Fi. Telling him otherwise would be like telling a flat earther the earth is round.
Realistically his Switch 2 is fine. Happened to me, my lease on the Switch 2's wired IP address expired. My router assigned that IP to something else. When the Switch 2 tried to come back it had an IP conflict. For whatever reason if the Switch 2 was sleeping, it wouldn't immediately request a new IP when the last expired. I would have to restart it to fix it. Fast fix. Most of the time if it's been more than a few days since the last use (I don't use it at all) when I walk by I'll just check it for charge, then shut it off entirely which prevents a handful of problems.

A whole stream where Phil received a grand total of 10 cents from Kick. He is displeased.

Mf was sitting on $162 and still found a way to bitch about support. This six70two gets humiliated by Phil on a monthly basis and still comes back for more. He already directly asked the dent stepdad for 50 gifted subs. Now he’s threatening to wage quit a restream.

For those that want to see exactly what it says.

How can someone be this lazy and incompetent on a continuous basis? IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING HARD TO FIX. Holy shit, we're going to get another whine session next year about how his once-glorious setup has now been ruined because of idiots not named Phil Burnell.

THIS IS WHY I DON'T PC GAME FOLKS! *soyjak mouth open, T-pose*
THIS IS WHY. *ack laugh*
DON'T EXPECT ME TO BUY ANOTHER PC. Not doing it. *buys 3, 2 for him and 1 for pigwife*

To be fair, unless you have mobos with flashback and the know-how to use it, I hesitate doing BIOS updates. Potentially bricked PCs still happen way too much. And since Phil buys prebuilts, they probably come with crap mobos. Phil is also infinitely more afraid of such things than I am.

Yet he got himself stuck into a corner because either he updates and risk bricking his PC or he doesn't and his CPU keeps frying itself.

He's even lazier if you put it into perspective, the update that fixes the problem has been out since September 2024, the problem is know since February 2024 and he's got countless alerts about updating his BIOS since then.

As someone with the same CPU, as soon as the error was announced I underclocked my chip and then waited for the BIOS update.
I'm still surprised someone can treat a 400$ chip like that. He's figuratively and literally watching his money burn by not doing anything about it.

(Btw I know intel sucks, I still regret that purchase)

the dvd / blu rays are actually a pretty solid thing to thoufh given how media is consumed these days. Not saying Phil had the foresight to understand that or was some film enthusiast by any means. Piracy aside youre kinda fuck if you are a fan of movies these days. Between all the different services and shit. Or the fact most often you just rent something for a few hours or a single watch some god awful but fucking price. Dvds are one of the most solid things he owns in terms of investment entertainment wise. Not saying they are worth anything at all but there is some value in owning physical media in the digital streaming age of movies.

The real crime and phils dumb bits in the dvd ownership is that he no doubt doesnt watch probably hasnt ever. That and he for sure has subscriptions to every major service and watches all shit via streaming id imagine. Hes still stupid in his ownership off them just in differnt reasons.
If you don’t pirate shit, you’re a fucking retard. Literally as simple as that.

I've bios-flashed this ancient mobo of mine twice just so I don't have to build a new AM5 build (I'm a cheap bastard that runs things into the ground before I buy a new one). If you're paranoid, just get one of those Uninterrupted Power Supplies (or ask to borrow from a friend who has one) and flash it then. The only way you're gonna get fucked with BIOS flashing is if the power flickers. It takes like 5 minutes tops and I bet Phil would sooner fuck it up by flashing the wrong mobo file to the BIOS before his mobo magically fritzed or the power went off. Phil also has a UPS so he has even less of an excuse.

He has said he isn't going to play it. His excuse is that the ethernet port on his Switch 2 dock is broken so online play will be impossible.
Funny how so many games are completely broken according to him with broken netcode and penultimate button registration style game breaking bugs but he never stops playing them.

Fucking Kirby's Air Race somehow demands only an unfiltered, full premium style business class internet connection which is like 20 megabits in speed because Phil is a nigger.

retard thinks that 50ms is unplayable ping when usually even 100 is alright for some games, and 80 is like baseline considered to be "good"

I build cheap PCs as a side gig and I often deal with a random selection of parts and conditions which is likely the main reason for random failures. But, even with relatively new parts, I've had a handful of wiped out systems that I had to flashback that I can't explain what went wrong.

Anyway, Phil absolutely should update BIOS regularly on those Intel CPUs, and I would go out of my way to undervolt.

He also very clearly has settings on his network that he does not understand. Not to mention both Switch consoles had the same issue of not being able to connect using an Ethernet wire after being asleep for a period of time. It would take maybe an hour of research (being generous) to fix or just curiosity to tinker with settings to fix it himself. The lack of want to do something like that is wild for a fucking 43 year old man. I can't imagine the whiny messages he likely sends his mod Discord when he has tech issues that we never see.

Both of his prebuilts have shitty bottom-tier motherboards, so I doubt they have any sort of BIOS flashback. Phil also likely thinks that because his BMW dealership Windows has been doing updates all this time, the BIOS is included, which is rarely the case. Device drivers don't even get updated sometimes through Windows Update. He also throws up a bitch fit when an update happens too, but would be the first person to cry if a virus got him and could have been prevented (with an update).
