The problem is financial literacy is just emotional regulation after the first 30 minutes of lessons for most people. People have trouble understanding exponential functions and their relation to investing and they can be taught it. But it isn't a lack of education that causes someone to buy a car 5 times more expensive than what they need, eat out for every meal, or go $100k in debt for a career that a single Google search would tell you has no chance of paying it off. Those are all will power and emotional regulation issues and teaching people about finance doesn't fix that.

Once you open the Pandora’s box of a trillion dollar stimulus, you can’t take that inflation back. You can slow down inflation, but you can’t reverse it unless some major economic shift and pains occur.

while the price of chicken and pork have not changed at all really, over the last six months the price of beef has gone up like 50%. that's trickled down to all of the mystery meat packaging companies making sausage and lunch meat out of blends of meat and that stuff has gone up considerably. Even though it's mostly mechanically separated pork and chicken they still find a way to make that 15% beef most of the price because they've deluded themselves into thinking that they're selling a lifestyle instead of a cheap product. I mean, that's legitimately the only way i can make sense of Oscar Meyer, it's like six dollars for a half pound circle of bologna. The mystery meat hot dogs are the same price as high quality beef franks from other brands.

We're not going to see things get cheaper until the tail end of the 3rd year of this term. He's doing the same things he did during his first term but on overdrive. I didn't see things get cheaper until the second half of 2018. 2016-2017 weren't king nigger prices but they were definitely cheaper and fluctuated around depending if things were in season or not.
There is though, it's called lowering taxes and cutting government spending. Every dollar the government doesn't spend on USAID chicanx feminism (and doesn't tax you for), is money in your account for food. It's the real cost (not the dollar cost), but that's what matters for affordability.
