Yup or more and more people will just use the city as a work space and live in NJ/Westchester/Long Island/CT and the economic base of the city will fall for his term. I mentioned this on another thread. It's not that the financial sector is thinking about leaving. They already thought it out and decided to leave. The NYC financial sector thrived for over a century because it was a good place to find all your financial needs into one single place. Once the internet made it easy to trade stocks, it began to make the physical presence of the NYSE less significant. COVID was the final nail because it finally put an end to in-person trading. The financial sector already has one foot out the door, and when they're gone, the securities industry follows suit.

I can only hope if they do come to Texas or go to Florida, they can keep their dogshit political beliefs in New York, but I'm not holding my breath.

I fully expect them to jump ship to another country, either Israel or China.
